The legendary actor, Jeetendra had married his fan, Shobha Kapoor, back in 1974, and together they had given birth to a lovely daughter, Ekta Kapoor and a handsome son, Tusshar Kapoor. While Ekta has maintained a name for herself as a producer in the industry, her brother, Tusshar has also engraved his status as a talented actor in the film industry.
Everyone is aware of the fact that when Jeetendra had met Shobha, he was going through an extremely rough patch and was struggling to make a name for himself in the industry. However, it was his willpower that had stood the test of time, and the two had embarked on their marital journey, that is still inspiring young couples across the nation.

Recently, we stumbled upon a rare picture of legendary actor, Jeetendra and his producer-wife, Shobha Kapoor, from their wedding day. In the picture, the madly in love couple looked stunning in their respective wedding attire. While on one side, Jeetendra looked handsome as usual in a white coloured sherwani, his wife, Shobha, left everyone in awe of him with her lovely pink coloured lehenga. It's hard not to fall in love with this picture that is almost 47 years old.
Last year on October 31, 2020, Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor had celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary. On the special occasion, their actor-son, Tusshar Kapoor, had taken to his IG handle and had shared a picture of his parents and had written, “Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad, thank you for all your love....it has taught me how to be a superb Daddy.”
Not just Tusshar Kapoor, but his sister, Ekta Kapoor, also never skips a chance to shower her immense love on their parents. Back in 2019, on Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor’s 45th anniversary, Ekta had taken to her IG handle and had shared a monochrome throwback picture of her parents performing their wedding rituals. Along with the picture, Ekta had written a funny wish, which could be read as “Happie anniversary homies Just wish u guys hadn’t married on #Halloween hahahah.”

For the unversed, Jeetendra and Shobha were all set to tie the knot on April 13, 1973, but their wedding was called off due to Jeetendra's father’s ill health? But when his marriage with Shobha was called off, his movies had also started hitting low at the box office and on the personal front, Shobha too had gone into depression. But, Jeetendra had promised Shobha that if his next movie would be a hit, he would marry her. His next movie, Bidaai was a blockbuster, and finally, on October 31, 1974, the duo had tied the knot.
