Jennifer Winget And Karan Singh Grover's Divorce REASON, 'Unfortunate Timing', Bipasha Was 'Blamed'

Ever since the buzz about Jennifer Winget and Karan Singh Grover's reunion on-screen made headlines, their fans have been recalling the days when they were madly in love. When Karan was with Jennifer, he radiated the boy-next-door charm with his lady love, Jennifer, by his side. But within two years of their marriage, they parted ways, breaking millions of hearts. While Karan Singh Grover soon went on to marry Bipasha Basu, Jennifer re-discovered herself, which showed in her bold acting projects and choices. 

Jennifer Winget and Karan Singh Grover's divorce was all about 'unfortunate timings' 

Karan Singh Grover and Jennifer Winget's love story blossomed on the sets of the 2009 show, Dill Mill Gayye, where they portrayed the roles 'Dr. Armaan' and 'Dr. Riddhima Gupta'. Soon, the couple got married in the summer of 2012. According to people who witnessed their romance, they said that Karan and Jennifer were inseparable whenever they made their public appearances. 

However, their fiery love story ended on a sour note, as they announced their separation in 2014, within two years of their marriage. Years later, Jennifer talked about her divorce, and revealed that the two were not ready for the marriage, and it was just 'unfortunate timing'. Jennifer, in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, added that they had been friends for so long and were life fire every time they met. She revealed:

"I think both of us were not ready. It’s not just him (Karan Singh Grover) or it's not just me, both of us weren’t ready to take that step. We had been friends for so long. We were like a house on fire every time we met. But I think it was an unfortunate timing I guess."

In the same interview, Jennifer revealed that people told her that she was mad to marry at a young age. But she wanted to, and even if God would have told her not to get married, she wouldn't have listened to her, as if felt the right thing to do back at that time. She said:

"Everyone was like are you mad? What are you doing? Everyone said that, but at that point, even if God would have told me na that don't do it, I had been like no, but I want to. That's the thing, if I have to do something, I want to do something, I will do it and that's what I wanted to do, and it felt right then."

Bipasha Basu was called the 'other woman' in Jennifer Winget and Karan Singh Grover's life 

When the buzz about Karan and Jennifer's marital life hitting rock bottom, people pointed fingers at the actor's closeness with Bipasha Basu on the sets of their film, Alone. People claimed that Karan and Bipasha became friends while shooting, and they even went on a dinner date without their then-partners, Harman Baweja and Jennifer Winget.

Not only this, but on another occasion, Bipasha was spotted out of a movie theatre with Karan Singh Grover, which further intensified the speculations. Karan went on to marry Bipasha Basu in 2016, and they welcomed their first child in November 2022. The couple has been through their share of struggles as their daughter was born with two holes in her heart and had to undergo open-heart surgery. 

Well, Jennifer and Karan's separation definitely changed the two happy souls. They have evolved over the years and never once washed their dirty laundry in public while people had a lot of conjectures regarding their separation.
