Popular actor, Tanuj Virwani is the son of yesteryear actress, Rati Agnihotri and her husband, Anil Virwani. Currently, Tanuj is on cloud nine as he got engaged to the love of his life, Tanya Jacob on November 17, 2023, and pictures of the same are still trending on social media. Now, the actor opened up about his marriage plans and love story, which is yet again unmissable. For the unversed, Tanuj is known for his roles in several TV series, including Inside Edge, Code M, Poison and others. Next, he is planning to join the remake of Ek Duje Ke Liye 2.
In an interview with the ETimes, Tanuj Virwani revealed how he and his fiancee, Tanya Jacob were friends initially. Later, their friendship blossomed into love, and they have been dating since 2022. Afterwards, Tanya relocated from Singapore to Mumbai so that they get more time to spend with each other in order to know one another better. Finally, a few days ago, they got engaged and talking about the same, Tanuj said:
“Tanya’s parents and my family have been good friends from many years. I have known Tanya for nine years, but we started dating a year ago. She relocated from Singapore to Mumbai so that we could get to know each other. We got engaged on November 17 in Singapore in the presence of friends and family members.”

Further, Tanuj was asked about his marriage plans with Tanya. To this, he talked about his mother, Rati Agnihotri, who wanted to get him married for a long time. However, the actor talked about the financial stability he wanted in his career before settling down. Afterwards, he revealed that they are finalising the wedding date now, and shared:
“Yes, finally, I am getting married. I have always felt that one should not get married only because they have hit a certain age or there’s pressure from the family. My mum wanted me to get married ever since I turned 32, but I wanted to settle down financially and in my career. Marriage is all about compatibility and friendship, so I waited for the right girl. We are finalising details. There will be a big announcement soon.”
In the same interview, Tanuj was asked how his fiancee, Tanya, who is a corporate professional herself, got acquainted with his work. To this, the Code M actor shared that although Tanya is not from the film industry, she used to grace various events from the entertainment industry along with him and also visits his shoot sets. He elaborated:
“Tanya does not belong to the film industry, but since the past one year, she has been accompanying me to parties and even on set. She has understood my work and is very supportive. She brings a sense of calm to my life. After marriage, she will work in Mumbai.”

Earlier, there were rumours about Tanuj being in a relationship with his Code M co-actress, Jennifer Winget. Although the duo dismissed such rumours, in a previous interaction with Spotboye, Tanuj addressed the same for the first time. He laughed it out on the matter and revealed their first reaction on hearing such a news piece. Tanuj revealed:
“We called each other and laughed together. We were holidaying in two different parts of the world. And it just happened to be our Christmas and New Year’s holiday. People these days add 2 and 2 and make it 22.”
