She shared a photo of Jimmy and along with it, she penned a long and emotional note. In the note, Latifa also revealed the cause of death and said that he died due to a seizure followed by pneumonia. She also thanked Jimmy’s fans, friends and family, who supported him throughout his journey. A part of her note can be read as:
"It’s with profound sadness that I share that my husband, Jimmy Cliff, has crossed over due to a seizure followed by pneumonia. I am thankful for his family, friends, fellow artists and coworkers who have shared his journey with him. To all his fans around the world, please know that your support was his strength throughout his whole career. He really appreciated each and every fan for their love."

While Jimmy Cliff's exact net worth is not known, multiple reports suggest that the global icon's net worth was somewhere between USD 10 million and USD 18 million.
