'Destined With You' Star, Jo Bo Ah Is Expecting Her First Child A Year After Tying The Knot

South Korean actress Jo Bo Ah, best known for her roles in Korean dramas such as Destined With You, Tale of the Nine Tailed, and Dear Hongrang, is all set to embrace motherhood. The actress is expecting her first child with her non-celebrity husband. The couple was blessed with the joyous news a year after they tied the knot. The duo got married in October 2024 in a private ceremony in Seoul. Her agency confirmed her first pregnancy.

On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, a local media outlet reported that Jo Bo Ah was expecting her first baby. The report revealed that the 34-year-old star is currently in the second trimester of her pregnancy and is expected to give birth next year in 2026. After wowing everyone with her performance onscreen, the actress has finally taken a step forward in her personal life.

Following the reports, her agency, XYZ Studio, released a statement confirming the news. Jo Bo Ah's agency, in a statement to Soompi, addressed the pregnancy and confirmed the joyful news. The statement could be read as:

"We would like to share our official statement regarding the news reported today about actress Jo Bo Ah. Actress Jo Bo Ah is expecting a child."

Jo Bo Ah's agency won't be sharing details about her pregnancy

In the same statement, the agency asked Jo Bo Ah's fans and well-wishers to send the actress their best wishes as she enters a new chapter of her life, and said they will not share further details about her pregnancy. The agency clarified that they will not be sharing any information, including the due date, with the world. They could be quoted as saying:

"We ask that you watch over her with warm blessings, and we ask for your generous understanding that we cannot share further details, including her due date. We are deeply grateful to everyone who always sends Jo Bo Ah love and support, and after her return, she will repay you with great performances as an actress."

In August 2024, Jo Bo Ah announced her wedding to a non-celebrity man. Her agency, on her behalf, shared a statement, revealing that she would exchange vows with her groom in October 2024 in a private ceremony attended only by their families. The agency had revealed that Jo Bo Ah had met a precious person with whom she had "mutually built deep trust and affection over a long period, and they decided to promise to spend the rest of their lives together this coming fall."
