Joey King and Steven Piet got married on September 2, 2023, on the beautiful island of Mallorca, one of Spain’s Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean. The couple dated for more than four years before tying the knot. They met on the set of the Hulu limited series, The Act.
The couple got engaged on February 2, 2022, when Steven proposed to Joey on their third dating anniversary celebration at Joshua Tree. As per a report by Vogue, Joey was the first one to make a move. She asked Steven out after the wrap party of The Act. She mentioned that ‘it was the best decision of her life’.

Joey King and Steven Piet’s wedding was definitely an out-of-a-fairytale scene. Their intimate yet luxurious ceremony has become the talk of the town. Joey said to Vogue that she always wanted an overseas wedding, which needed to be private but at the same grand and unique. She said:
“We found La Fortaleza in Mallorca, and it feels like the Spanish version of The Great Gatsby. It’s historic without being dated. It felt timeless, the same way we feel about our love for each other. And finding it was all thanks to our wonderful wedding planners Alison Bryan Destinations—they nailed it and found us the venue of our dreams.”
Keeping aside the grand wedding venue, we think Joey’s all four dresses from Oscar de la Renta (ODLR) were the stars of the events, especially her 3-D floral wedding dress. In the same interview, Joey talked about how she wanted to find a dress that was both classic and had unique details to match the location.
She spent months visiting different bridal shops but had no luck finding the perfect dress. Fortunately, her stylist, Jared Eng, helped her and suggested she check out Oscar de la Renta's bridal collection. Joey ended up selecting four different looks to wear throughout her wedding weekend.
The Kissing Booth actress, Joey King, opted for a white whimsical dress from the ODLR collection for her rehearsal dinner. It was a beautiful midi dress featuring intricate flower designs, laces and a cape. The actress kept her makeup to a bare minimum and complemented the look with diamond earrings.

Joey wore a dramatic strapless sweetheart neckline and large 3-D flower-petal paillettes white gown and kept her glam minimal to let her dress do all the talking. The 24-year-old actress wanted a little glitter on her eyes, and as for the rest of her make-up, she wanted to keep it natural. The glow of happiness on her face accentuated her OOTD tenfold. The groom, Steven, looked sharp and dapper in a classic black and white tuxedo from Brunello Cucinelli and patent Gianvito Rossi shoes for the wedding day.
Joey wore the ODLR Raffia Fringe Knit Mini Dress with Amanu sandals to the Sunday afternoon post-wedding pool party. Later, Joey changed into a floral cut-out one-piece swimsuit by the designer.
Joey King described the wedding ceremony, which was held on the lower-terrace swimming pool, as ‘absolute perfection’. Sabrina Carpenter serenaded the bride, Joey King, down the aisle while the couple's friend, Erik, officiated the ceremony. The guest list included actors like Taylor Zakhar Perez, AnnaSophia Robb, Trevor Paul, Brianne Tju, Rob Lowry, Phoebe Dynevor, Cameron Fuller, Kaitlyn Dever, Kyle Allen, and Kevin Miles. Joey expressed her delight in seeing all of her friends come together and form connections with one another at the wedding.
