The third instalment of the satirical court drama, Jolly LLB dropped on OTT on Children's Day (November 14, 2025). The movie includes a face-off between the two lead 'Jollys', played by Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi. The film had a successful theatrical run after receiving its CBFC clearance with a U/A rating and is now available to watch on Netflix. Amid this, the cast members' salaries have been revealed, and the amounts might shock you.
The salaries for the cast of Jolly LLB 3 reveal a large pay gap between the leading actors and the rest of the ensemble, as reported by Asianetnews. The 'original Jolly' is paid a lot less than his co-star. Akshay Kumar, who portrays 'Jolly 2' from Kanpur, reportedly earned the highest fee for his role at approximately Rs. 70 crore. The A-list actor, who is also reported to be the fourth-richest Bollywood actor as of 2025, joined the movie franchise as its lead in the second instalment.

The 'original Jolly', Arshad Warsi, who played the lead role in the first movie, has a significantly lower fee than Akshay Kumar's for Jolly LLB 3. Arshad is returning as 'Jolly' from Meerut and is reported to have received Rs. 4 crore for his role. The franchise's reliable 'Judge Sunder Lal Tripathi', played by veteran actor, Saurabh Shukla, reportedly earned Rs. 70 lakh. Other cast members' earnings include Huma Qureshi, who received Rs. 2 crore for her role, and Amrita Rao, who took home Rs. 1 crore.

Annu Kapoor is also reported to have earned Rs. 50 lakh as appearance money for Jolly LLB 3. This distribution of salaries, particularly the significant difference between the two lead 'Jollys', highlights the differing levels of stardom and box-office pull within the cast. Notably, Akshay Kumar has a net worth of around Rs. 2500 crore, which explains his stardom and position in the Bollywood film industry.

Jolly LLB 3 is the third movie in the popular Bollywood courtroom comedy-drama franchise, which released on September 19, 2025. It is directed by Subhash Kapoor, who also helmed the previous two films. This instalment brings the franchise's lead actors, Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, face-to-face in the same courtroom. The clash of Arshad Warsi's 'Jagdish 'Jolly' Tyagi' and Akshay Kumar's 'Jagdishwar 'Jolly' Mishra' as rival lawyers forms the heart of the movie.

Besides returning characters from Jolly LLB 3, the film also features new, talented faces. They are Gajraj Rao as the antagonist, a businessman, and Seema Biswas, a villager standing tall against influential people and seeking justice for her deceased family. Huma Qureshi returns as 'Jolly Mishra's' wife, while Amrita Rao returns as 'Jolly Tyagi's' wife. Notably, this marks Amrita's comeback to the film industry after a six-year hiatus, following her last appearance in Thackeray (2019).

Filming for Jolly LLB 3 began in May 2024 and wrapped in July 2024, with locations including Rajasthan, Mumbai, and Madhya Pradesh. Prior to its release, the film faced legal challenges from lawyers who claimed the trailer and a song were disrespectful to the judiciary. The Allahabad High Court and Bombay High Court dismissed these petitions, noting that cinematic satire does not harm the judiciary's reputation, with the Bombay High Court commenting that they "have been facing mockery since day one". However, the film later received the green light and premiered successfully in theatres and on OTT.
