After 3 Seasons, Joseph Sikora Says Goodbye To 'Power Book IV: Force,' Leaves Door Open For Return

After more than a decade of playing one of television’s most complex and beloved antiheroes, Joseph Sikora is officially saying goodbye, at least for now, to his iconic character ‘Tommy Egan.’ The Power universe veteran confirmed that Power Book IV: Force, the spinoff centered on, 'Tommy’s' journey in Chicago, will conclude after its upcoming third season.

What did Joseph Sikora talk about Power Book IV: Force

In a recent interview, Sikora thanked fans for their unwavering support throughout the years and reflected on what the role has meant to him. “It’s been a wild ride,” he said, adding that while it’s time to say goodbye, he doesn’t view this as the absolute end of 'Tommy’s' story. “Goodbye—for now,” he emphasized, leaving the door open for future appearances in the Power franchise.

The announcement marks the end of a significant chapter in the Power saga. Originally premiering in 2022, Power Book IV: Force followed 'Tommy Egan' as he attempted to rebuild his empire in Chicago following the death of his best friend and business partner, ‘Ghost’ (played by Omari Hardwick) in the original Power series. The show gave fans a deeper look at 'Tommy’s' psyche, his loyalty, anger, and ambition, and showcased Sikora’s ability to balance ruthless energy with emotional depth.

Sikora’s portrayal of 'Tommy Egan' first captured audiences in 2014 when Power debuted on Starz. Over six seasons, the series became a cultural phenomenon, chronicling the rise and fall of New York’s criminal underworld. After the original show’s finale in 2020, Starz expanded the universe into multiple spinoffs, including Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, and Sikora’s own vehicle, Power Book IV: Force.

Despite the show’s conclusion, Sikora hinted that 'Tommy’s' story may not be entirely over. The actor’s ‘for now’ phrasing has fueled speculation that the character could reappear in another Power spinoff or special. Starz has previously teased that the Power universe remains alive and expanding, so a return is not out of the question.
