The just-married couple, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are on cloud nine as they had already entered into their marital life after tying the knot on June 9, 2022. For the unversed, the duo had met each other for the first time in 2016, when the actress was playing a lead role in one of his directorial films, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. After being in a steady relationship, Vignesh had officially revealed their engagement on March 25, 2021, by posting a picture of his ladylove's hand placed on his chest while flaunting her engagement ring.
The power couple, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan's wedding rituals had reportedly begun at 8 a.m. on June 9, 2022, and had concluded before the brahma muhurat. The celeb couple had tied the nuptial knot in a private ceremony in a five-star hotel in Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu, as per South Indian rituals. Ahead of their wedding, Vignesh had taken to his IG handle and had posted an array of pictures with his ladylove, Nayanthara. Along with it, he had written:
“Today is June 9th and it’s Nayan’s thanking God , the universe, the Good will from all the lovely human beings who have crossed My life !! Every good soul , every good moment , every good coincidence, every good blessing , everyday at shooting and every prayer that has made life this beautiful! According to a report in Pinkvilla, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan would celebrate their big day by providing lunch to thousands of orphan kids and people at old age homes and needy people outside temples. The newly married couple hosted a lunch for 18,000 kids and 1 lakh people across Tamil Nadu to spread happiness and seek blessings by winning their hearts. This deed of the much-in-love couple is indeed inspirational. However, similar to their wedding ceremony, which had been exclusively shot under the supervision of the director, Gautham Vasudev Menon, they had also decided to keep this event of feeding the needy people, out from media glares.
Ahead of their wedding, according to a report in Pinkvilla, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan had also arranged a press conference on June 9, 2022. In the press conference, the then-to-be-married couple had thanked their massive fanbase and media for giving their constant support and love to the couple for all these years. We had also stumbled upon the couple's wedding card, which was uniquely decorated by coconut trees and greenery printed on it.

Vignesh is indeed a loving partner, and glimpses of the same are found on his IG handle. Earlier, to mark Mother's Day 2020, Vignesh had shared a picture of his ladylove, Nayanthara on his IG handle. In the adorable photo, the actress could be seen holding a baby in her arms and had looked super cute together. However, Vignesh's cutesy caption had caught our attention. He had called Nayanthara 'the mother of his future children', and had written:
“Happy Mother’s Day to the mother of the child in the hands of the mother of my future children.”
