The duo was reportedly engaged in deep conversation, and while there was no sign of a public display of affection, they seemed friendly throughout the evening. There's no denying the fact that the buzz instantly picked up, and speculations about the couple's dating began. Following this, Justin's appearance at Katy Perry's LifeTimes Tour concert on July 30, 2025, again reignited the buzz.

Following this, her outing with Justin Trudeau sparked gossip. Two days later, several clips from the singer's concert made rounds on social media, and people didn't waste a single minute to spot Justin there.

Justin Trudeau was seen standing in the front row, wearing a black-toned t-shirt and pants. He sang along with Katy, one of her best hits, Fireworks, and even danced slowly. As Katy was nailing with her chartbusters, Justin was looking at her in awe. The Daily Mail also reported that Justin was present at the concert with his daughter, Ella-Grace.

They were reportedly first spotted at Mount Royal Park, had dinner at Le Violon, and then went on to Taverne Atlantic Terrace. According to Le Violon’s co-owner and co-executive chef, Danny Smiles, no romantic or romantic-like vibes were there between the two; rather, they looked like good friends. Danny told TMZ:

"I didn’t get any dating vibes from Katy and Justin...just two friends enjoying a meal."
