Netizens review Dulquer Salmaan’s film, Kaantha

On November 13, 2025, the makers of the film, Kaantha organised a special screening in a few theatres a day before the original release. After the special screening, a lot of fans took to their X (formerly Twitter) handles and shared their thoughts on the same. One user commented, "Outstanding gripping murder mystery drama. Stunning screenplay. Omg." Another user wrote, "One of the best roles of @dulQuer in recent times. Award-winning performance." A third user penned, "Good first half. Interval is completely unexpected one. #Kaantha Mainly @dulQuer and #bhagyashriborse are completely lived in the characters." Another user shared a detailed review. A part of it can be read as:

"This is a classic! #SelvamaniSelvaraj has made a genre bending film. While the first half is all about the ego tussle between the Guru- Sishya and romantic undercurrent between the film stars, the second half becomes a Hitchcock style investigative thriller with the climax that leaves a lump in your throat. Definitely one of the best films of this year."
