After a wave of wedding rumours in the media, the actress had finally announced her wedding with her entrepreneur fiancé, Gautam Kitchlu. Kajal Aggarwal had put an end to all the speculations in media about her wedding with Gautam Kitchlu by releasing a statement on her social media handle, confirming her wedding with Gautam. Revealing the details, Kajal had said, "It gives me immense joy to share that I am getting married to Gautam Kitchlu, on October 30, 2020, in Mumbai, in a small, private ceremony surrounded by our immediate families. The pandemic has certainly shed a sobering light on our joy but we are thrilled to start our lives together and know that all of you will be cheering us on in spirit." As the wedding is on coming Friday, Kajal’s relatives have started gathering at her Mumbai residence to prepare for the biggest day of the actress’ life.
With a fan following of millions, Kajal’s fans are eager to know more about her wedding and get inside scoop of the same. To answer fans’ queries, in interaction with Hyderabad Times, Kajal’s sister, Nisha Aggarwal reveals it all. Nisha revealed that Kajal and Gautam’s wedding will be a low-key affair with haldi and mehendi ceremonies to be held at their home only. Sharing how the family is trying to create a 'shaadi ka mahaaul' at home, Nisha said, “Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we’re keeping the celebrations low-key. Despite the restrictions in place, we’re trying our best to create the shaadi ka mahaaul. We will be hosting traditional haldi and mehendi ceremonies at home. Both ceremonies will take place on the same day — October 29, one day before the wedding. We’re all extremely thrilled for Kajal and we’re so excited for her as she begins her new journey.”
Nisha shared it is an emotional time for her family as everyone is gearing up for ‘Kajal weds Gautam’. Sharing how everyone is trying to spend more of time with Kajal, Nisha revealed, “My father has been looking forward to Kajal’s wedding day for so long, so it’s a special time for all of us. We’re also a bit emotional as Kajal will be getting married and leaving home. So at the moment, we’re trying to spend as much time as we can with her. But everyone wants a piece of the bride during this time, so I haven’t gotten to spend much time with her.”
When asked about the wedding venue, Nisha chose to stay quiet and quipped that it will be a small ceremony with close family members and friends. She said, “Although low-key, the wedding will be a special one, that’s for sure. We have planned a little sangeet on the wedding day itself, so there’s going to be singing, dancing, love and laughter all around.” She further added how Gautam is a great man and they are pleased to welcome him in their family. She said, “Gautam is a great guy and I’m delighted to welcome him into the family. Owing to the on-going global pandemic, Kajal Aggarwal’s sister, Nisha had arranged for an in-house bachelorette party for her soon-to-be-bride sister. Nisha Aggarwal had shared pictures from the same on her IG handle and Kajal had looked super gorgeous, radiating the pre-bridal glow in a beautiful black bodycon dress with sheer sleeves. The happy bride-to-be had also donned a 'bride-to-be' sash and bunny ears. Kajal had also posted some pictures on her IG handle with the caption, "So what if we cannot get out, redefining and learning the new normal."
