For the unversed, the duo worked in several films together, but it was only on the sets of the film, Umrao Jaan that their love story blossomed. Finally, on April 20, 2007, they got married. A few years later, in 2011, Abhishek and Aishwarya became parents to their daughter, Aaradhya.
In one of the older episodes of Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee With Karan, Kajol, Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji joined in as the guests for a particular episode. In a clip from the episode, that has now become viral, Karan could be seen hosting the rapid fire round with Kajol. Amongst the several questions he asked the diva, at one point, he asked her to share an advice to the couple, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, to save their marriage. To this, Kajol gave a sassy response and took jibe at the actor’s film, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. She said:
“Don’t watch KANK.”

For instance, earlier, while speaking at the India Today Conclave East, Abhishek Bachchan walked down the memory lane and narrated how his love story with Aishwarya Rai blossomed. Talking about their close friendship gradually evolved into love, he said:
“I first worked with Aishwarya in my initial films. We first worked together on Dhai Akshar Prem Ke. We were friends since then. We were dear friends. We were simultaneously doing another film, Kuch Na Kaho. We always had a close friendship, and in time, it evolved into something more than that. Things took a serious turn during Umrao Jaan. After that, I proposed to her and then we got married, and now we have a beautiful daughter, Aaradhya.”

Previously, during her appearance in the show, Koffee With Karan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gave some brutally honest replies during a rapid fire round. For instance, at one point, the diva was asked to choose between the actors, Saif Ali Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. To this, Aishwarya simply prided over her marital surname and gave a sassy response, thereby ignoring to answer the question directly. She said:
“We are Bachchans for all seasons, and my name is not Khan."
