"We've had a lot of conversations over it, and I know for a fact that my daughter especially has been hounded [by cameras] since she was 14 or 15, which is not correct. It was not right."
Earlier, Kajol mentioned that her daughter, Nysa, is a Gen-Z girl, who knows women's rights and acts like she was born with it, and not that she has to fight for it. She stated that her daughter's zeal helps her in learning new things. She was quoted as saying:
"She thinks like someone from today’s world. When it comes to women’s rights, she acts like she was born into them—like it’s a given, not something that had to be fought for. It’s just a natural part of her life. She’s fierce, and that’s something we all aspire to be. There’s this amazing quality that today’s girls have: they expect to be treated well, with dignity and good manners, and they call it out when it doesn’t happen. It’s something that really teaches me new things every time. It even makes me feel a bit old-fashioned sometimes."
