Bollywood actress, Kajol tied the knot with the love of her life, Ajay Devgn on February 24, 1999, when she was at the peak of her career. After their marriage, Kajol took a sabbatical and only appeared in selective projects. Now, she has already returned to her acting career and working on one after the other projects. The madly-in-love couple has been in marital bliss for over two decades and was blessed with a daughter, Nysa and a son, Yug. However, Kajol's bubbly and Ajay's serious nature, respectively, have always shed light on how 'opposites attract'. Now, Kajol hilariously shared a picture of them and hinted at it.
Taking to her IG handle on August 10, 2023, Kajol shared a stunning picture with her husband, Ajay Devgn. In the picture, Kajol stunned in a yellow flowy gown with a black-and-white printed jacket, and Ajay looked dapper in a black suit. However, while Kajol was seen spreading the aura of her radiant smile, Ajay looked completely serious and made some gestures with his hand. Afterwards, she penned a hilarious caption and also asked him to smile sometimes. She wrote:
"So many captions and just one post. But this one won the contest :- Kadi has bhi liya karo…"

On August 5, 2023, Kajol turned a year older, and to mark her special day, Ajay Devgn took to his Instagram handle and shared a quirky video. In the video, the duo sits on the stage for a media interview. During the course of the video, they were asked about the better cook, better communicator and much more amongst themselves. To this, Ajay credited almost everything to Kajol and talked about her good qualities. Sharing the video, he penned, "Tareef karu kya teri... Happy Birthday @itsKajolD." Soon, Kajol reacted to the post, and teased her husband for lying about her cooking skills. She penned:
"You didn't have to lie about the cooking you know."

Soon after Ajay dropped the beautiful wish for his wife, Kajol, a Reddit user pointed out that Kajol always had sad encounters with her fans, and other social media users also reacted to it. They called out Ajay for sarcastically praising Kajol and lying about his wife's nature. While one user commented, "That's him being sarcastic", another one wrote, "Once Kajol snatched away the mic from one of the award show technicians [foreign lady]. Kindness to strangers?... Nah!!"

In an interview with Curly Tales, Kajol was asked about her wedding. To this, she revealed that her sisters had organised her entire wedding. And apart from blissfully enjoying the moment, Kajol was not stressed at all. However, she was very serious in reality. Following this, Kajol revealed how she became restless at her wedding and instructed her husband, Ajay Devgn, to hurry up. This happened when the priest was taking too long, and Kajol wanted to speed up the process. Kajol had shared:
“While we were doing the wedding also, I’d tell Ajay to tell the pundit, ‘Just hurry up please!’ It was taking so long, and we got married in two customs– we had the Maharashtrian wedding and the regular ‘saath pheras’ . I was not stressed out. I was like, ‘Just hurry up now, I can’t sit here for too long!'"
