Who says love doesn’t knock your door again? Here we have a classic example of a popular Bollywood actress, Kalki Koechlin, who has fallen in love for the second time. For the ones who don’t know, Kalki was earlier married to the famous director, Anurag Kashyap for almost four years. They had tied the knot with each other in the year 2011 and were granted the divorce in 2015, after announcing separation in 2013. Nonetheless, the two stand amicable with each other post their divorce.
While Anurag Kashyap had moved on in life a few years ago when he had started dating a 24-year-old assistant director, Shubhra Shetty, it seems, the French-Indian actress and writer, Kalki has found love too. Well, Kalki Koechlin has now found love in a man named, Guy Hershberg. Finally, on September 1, 2019, Kalki made her relationship ‘Insta-official’ with Guy. Coming back to Kalki and Guy, the actress shared a picture posing with the man of her life, who can be seen giving a peck on her cheek. She captioned the picture as, “It's always a Sunday when I'm with my favourite caveman.” And then, it was followed by a lovely banter in the comments section for Guy wrote, “@kalkikanmani you just put such a big silly smile on my face my cutie.” And Kalki replied, “@guyhershberg the photographic evidence for big silly smiles is certainly on my side Bug.” Checkout:
In August 2019 too, Guy made his appearance on Kalki’s social media handle. Kalki had taken to her Instagram account and had shared a picture relishing sushi with him. This was the time when the rumours about their dating spree started echoing in showbiz. In March 2019, Kalki had poured her heart out in an interview with Humans of Bombay about her post-divorce life and ex-husband, Anurag Kashyap. Starting with her childhood days, Kalki was quoted as saying, “My father hitchhiked from France to India & while he was living here, he met my mother. When they started a family, they were very much the locals of the city. My father taught hang gliding, while my mom taught French. I had an amazing childhood. For the most part, I was never aware that I was ‘white’. I didn’t feel like an outsider until much later.”
In the same post, she had also talked about her struggles and how they increased post her divorce with Anurag. Kalki had retorted, “The struggles never really end. When my ex-husband & I separated, I had to deal with the rumors. Everytime I stepped out with a man, the media thought we were dating. Journalists would ask how my life was post-divorce, how was I handling my career & balancing it? Even concerned neighbours would ask my parents such questions. But I chose to ignore it." Talking about her divorce with Anurag, Kalki had informed a leading online portal, "Right now, I am in a good space. Last year was a little bit more of a struggle, as I didn’t know where I was going. I wasn’t sure where my relationship with Anurag was going. All of it was unclear. Now, we are pretty clear that we are not going to be together. We have already applied for divorce and will get it soon.”
