Bollywood actress, Kangana Ranaut, is known for her no-nonsense attitude along with her acting chops and commentary on Bollywood in a full-on, unapologetic manner. The actress recently spoke about the behaviour of male stars in the industry and highlighted the harsh reality of Bollywood's male-dominated system. She agreed on the fact that the male stars of the film fraternity were shameless.
Kangana sat down for an interview with Hauterrfly and shared the struggles she faced in the industry as an outsider. Kangana revealed that the male stars of Bollywood were nothing but badtameez, but she never let that come in the way of being an actress. When the Queen star was asked about facing any weird situation from the heroes of Bollywood, she replied by saying:
"Maine zyada heroes ke saath kaam hi nahi kiya hain! Mera main concern yahi tha ki badtameez bahut hain heroes."
Kangana's only concern with heroes in the industry was that they were shameless, impolite and mannerless. The actress, whose chemistry with R Madhavan and Emraan Hashmi has always been a hit, revealed that she faced no trouble in a se***l manner but did have issues with heroes coming late to the movie sets. She noted:
''Late aana set pe, badtameeziyan karna, heroine ko neecha dikhana, sideline karna, choti van dena... mujhe kaafi trouble bhi hua ki kitne cases ye mujh pe kiye isiliye kyuki main wahape inn cheezon se main okay nahi thi jabki most girls are okay with this, toh unko laga ki isko kyu itna ghamand hain."
Kangana did agree that in Bollywood, the safety of women is not taken care of and, without taking names, accused many stars of exploiting women within the film fraternity. Earlier, in an interview with News 18, Kangana gave a light on the shady business done in Bollywood. She noted how actresses are called for dinners and are invited to homes. She also shared that in society, women are not respected like heroes and usually females face mistreatment. In her words:
"We know that we do not respect women. The film industry is no different. College boys comment on females. Film heroes are no different. They are also like this. We know how a woman is treated at a workplace."
Once, the actress sat down for an interview with the Hindustan Times and revealed that she would be very shocked to find a decent person in Bollywood who could talk beyond branded bags or cars. She shared that the talks made by the stars are nothing but embarrassing. A Bollywood party is nothing but a trauma for her. In her words:
