Kangana Ranaut Calls Jaya Bachchan 'A Spoilt Woman' After The Latter Misbehaved With Her Fan

Jaya Bhaduri, now Jaya Bachchan, is one of the most popular actresses of Hindi cinema. However, the actress has garnered significant attention for her rude behaviour towards fans and paparazzi. She is also a politician and a member of parliament in Rajya Sabha from the Samajwadi Party. In August 2024, Jaya also had a tussle with Rajya Sabha chairman, Jagdeep Dhankar during a session in parliament. However, recently the veteran actress and politician made headlines after misbehaving with a fan. Now, Bollywood actress, Kangana Ranaut has reacted to it.

Kangana Ranaut slams Jaya Bachchan’s action

On July 12, 2025, Kangana took to her Instagram Stories and posted a video of angry Jaya Bachchan pushing a fan, when he tried to take a selfie with the Sholay actress. Sharing the video, Kangana also slammed the veteran actress in a note. She was a 'spoilt woman'. In fact, she mentioned how people tolerate her just because she is the wife of Bollywood superstar, Amitabh Bachchan. Slamming Jaya for her actions, Kangana wrote:

"Most spoilt and privileged woman. People put up with her tantrums/non-sense just because she is Amitabh Bachchan ji’s wife. That Samajwadi topi looks like a rooster comb, while she looks like a fighting cock!! Such disgrace and shame."

In a now-viral video, Jaya Bachchan was seen having a conversation with a person at the gate of Delhi’s Constitution Club, when suddenly a man came out of nowhere and tried to take a selfie. The man came too close to grab the selfie, which irked the veteran actress. She pushed the man away from her and yelled at him. She was quoted as saying:

"Kya kar rahe hai aap, What is this?"

Netizens’ reaction to the video

As soon as the video surfaced online, netizens flooded the comment section. A user wrote, "She needs therapy and help." Another user commented, "Amitabh Bachchan had the title of 'Young Angry Man'. But instead of him, this lady truly deserved that title." One of the users shared that this is a repeated behaviour of the actress and wrote, "This is her repeated behaviour, why people are mad taking selfies with such characters." A user called Jaya’s action rude and commented, "That’s so rude." Giving a mixed reaction, a user wrote, "Something is wrong with her always, we do respect her as an actor."

When Jaya Bachchan had a fight with Jagdeep Dhankar

Back in 2024, Jaya Bachchan had a clash with Rajya Sabha chairman, Jagdeep Dhankhar after the latter addressed the veteran actress as 'Jaya Amitabh Bachchan' during a session in parliament. As soon as Jaya was called to speak, she couldn’t hold back and showed her anger about being linked with her husband’s name in the Rajya Sabha. The actress stood up and slammed Jagdeep for calling her 'Jaya Amitabh Bachchan'. She responded, saying that as an artist, she could easily understand the body language and tone used by the Rajya Sabha chairman. She mentioned that Jagdeep’s tone is not acceptable to her. In return, Jagdeep scolded her for her attitude and was quoted as saying:

"Jaya ji take your seat. You have earned a great reputation. An actor is a subject to the director. You are not seeing what I see from here. I am a person who has gone out of their way. Enough of this. You may be a celebrity, but you have to understand decorum."
