Kangana Ranaut is not just a versatile actress but is often hailed for her unapologetic take on the double standards of Bollywood. Be it raising her voice against movie mafia or nepotism, Kangana doesn't think twice before voicing her opinions. And now, the actress has taken a direct dig at actor, Ranveer Singh and his choice of clothing.
Taking to her IG handle, Kangana Ranaut penned a long note for actor, Ranveer Singh and asked him to stop being a cartoon and dress sensibly. She also asked him not to get influenced by filmmaker, Karan Johar. Her long note can be read as:
“My sincere advice to @ranveersingh he should stop getting influenced by Karan Johar and his dressing sense … he should dress up like a normal human being, like Dharm ji or Vinod Khanna ji dressed in their days, Indian people can’t identify with a cartoon looking person calling himself a hero, please see all south heros how they dress up and carry themselves with great dignity and integrity….They look manly and dignified… people don’t ruin the culture in our country.”

Kangana had earlier taken a dig at Karan Johar’s film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. She also compared Karan’s film to a daily soap and asked him to retire from filmmaking. An excerpt from Kangana’s note can be read as:
“Indian audience watching 3 hours long film on the origin of nuclear weapon and intricacies of atomic science aur vahan nepo gang ka wahi saas bahu ka rona, lekin why he needs 250 cr to make a daily soap ….??? Shame on you Karan Johar for making the same film nth time … calling yourself the flag bearer of Indian cinema and perpetually regressing it …. Don’t waste funds it’s not easy time for the Industry, retire now and let young filmmakers make new and revolutionary films.”

Kangana Ranaut’s tiff with Karan Johar began on the chat show, Koffee With Karan. It was on the show, where the host, Karan Johar asked Kangana who in the industry had given her an unnecessary attitude. To which the bold actress had replied that it was Karan himself, who has been intolerant towards outsiders and the flag bearer of nepotism in Bollywood.
