Kangana Ranaut is known as the controversy queen of Bollywood, who never misses a chance to take direct digs at many eminent celebrities in the industry. However, at times, she also praises good work and startling personalities in the world of glam and glitz. One such instance was when she praised Kareena Kapoor for one of her iconic characters on-screen. In addition, Kareena too, had once talked highly of Kangana.
Recently, netizens dug out those old interviews of Kangana Ranaut and Kareena Kapoor on the discussion platform Reddit. At the beginning of the video, Kangana was heard praising Kareena for her work in the industry. The Tejas actress spoke in favour of Kareena's character 'Geet' in the film, Jab We Met, and said:
"I think that Kareena has raised a high bar for us all. She is the epitome of a modern woman. And the way she has played her characters, she has in a way influenced our generation, her Geet character in the film, Jab We Met, from there, for us huge standards were set."

On the other hand, in the second part of the clip, Kareena was heard calling Kangana's film, Queen a spectacular movie. Kareena mentioned that the Fashion actress really means and sticks to whatever she says. Further, explaining her point while praising Kangana, Kareena shared:
"But I mean I saw Queen so I think that's spectacular. So I think I should definitely take Kangana's name because it was truly her year. She says she doesn't want to work with a superstar. She really means it when she says it. A lot of people say it but they really want to work. Everyone wants to work with the Khans."
Netizens then strongly reacted to the excerpts from Kangana Ranaut and Kareena Kapoor's old interviews and mentioned how the divas talked highly about one another, despite the former often criticising Ranbir Kapoor. While some mentioned that this was due to Saif Ali Khan's good relationship with Kangana Ranaut, others hinted how Ranbir and Kareena are completely two different people. One user wrote, "The only reason is Saif and Kangana are very good friends. Kangana never talks about Sara when talking about nepotism." Another mentioned, "Just like how kareena - karishma dont get along with abhishek but Ranbir is close to him."

Kangana and Ranbir's clash is not unknown to anyone in the media. The actress often takes to her social media handles and bashes the actor for many of his public instances. For instance, a while back, taking to her X handle, Kangana dropped a cryptic tweet as her film, Tejas received some negative comments, along with a lot of positive responses. The actress shared that she might shift her career, as people nowadays have been supporting such films that showcase women being beaten and being asked to 'lick shoes'. However, the second part of Kangana's example was a dialogue from Ranbir Kapoor-starrer film, Animal, that received a lot of flak from the audience for women's portrayal in the movie. Kangana wrote:
"Paid negativity for my films is overwhelming, I have been fighting hard so far but even audiences are encouraging women beating films where they are treated like sex objects and asked to lick shoes, this is deeply discouraging for someone who has been dedicating her life for woman empowerment films, might shift career in coming years, want to give best years of my life to something worthwhile."
