Kangana Ranaut is the most talented actress in Bollywood. The diva never shies away from winning the hearts of her fans, courtesy of her acting chops, divine beauty, unfiltered opinions, and more. On her professional front, Kangana was last seen in the movie, Tejas, which received mixed responses from the audience. The diva will be next seen in the movie, Eemergency in 2024. However, Kangana is known for speaking her mind out, and something similar happened again as she slyly took a dig at one of the blockbusters of 2023, Animal.
Taking to her X (previously Twitter), Kangana Ranaut dropped a cryptic tweet as her film, Tejas received some negative comments, along with a lot of positive responses. The actress shared that she might shift her career, as people nowadays have been supporting such films that showcase women being beaten and being asked to 'lick shoes'. However, it is worth mentioning that Ranbir Kapoor-starrer, Animal received a lot of flak from the audience for women's portrayal in the movie. Moreover, taking a sly dig at the movie, Kangana wrote:
"Paid negativity for my films is overwhelming, I have been fighting hard so far but even audiences are encouraging women beating films where they are treated like sex objects and asked to lick shoes, this is deeply discouraging for someone who has been dedicating her life for woman empowerment films, might shift career in coming years, want to give best years of my life to something worthwhile."

In another tweet, Kangana Ranaut talked about her take on women's roles and portrayal in present-day films. The actress recalled the time when she first stepped into Bollywood, and there had been 'vulgar item songs'. The actress also mentioned that she rejected films opposite big heroes such as Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor, and others, not because she had anything personal against them but because of the women's portrayal in the movies back then, which has now improved. Earlier, reports were rife that Ranbir Kapoor would play the role of 'Ram' in Nitesh Tiwari's much-anticipated film, Ramayana. However, reacting to the same, Kangana penned a long note wherein she seemingly took a dig at the Animal actor. Taking to her IG handle, she posted a story wherein she called Ranbir 'a white rat', 'womaniser' and a 'drug addict', and took a dig at him for his role play in the movie, Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva.

In one of her IG stories, Kangana Ranaut slammed a 'farzi' couple in Bollywood, seemingly by taking a dig at Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's marriage. Kangana wrote about the wife and daughter of an actor, who were cut out of a family trip, and no one wrote about that. The actress also labelled that star's wedding as a 'movie promotion'. As per several reports, the reason why Kangana called Ranbir and Alia 'farzi' is that they have flats in the same building. Back then, Ranbir Kapoor's family trip with Neetu and his other family members was not joined by Alia and Raha, which Kangana reportedly asked the media to shed some light on.
