There's no denying the fact that such a statement left everyone excited about what would happen next. And the wait is over, as Kangana Ranaut finally reacted to Karan's statement.
Taking to her X (previously known as Twitter), Kangana Ranaut penned a note to react to KJo's statement about him being excited about The Emergency. The actress wrote that the last time when Karan was excited during the release of her film, Manikarnika, the worse smear campaign of her life was unleashed upon her on the release weekend. The actress also mentioned that the main actors of Manikarnika were paid to throw mud upon the actress, and the most-possible successful week of her life turned into a nightmare. And as KJo is excited again, Kangana mentioned that she is very scared. Kangana's Tweet can be read as:
"Ha ha last time when he said he was excited to see Manikarnika, the worse smear campaign of my life was unleashed upon me on its releasing weekend … almost all main actors working in the film were paid to sling mud on me and sabotage the film and suddenly the most successful weekend of my life was turned in to a living nightmare for me… Ha ha I am scared now very scared … because he is excited again …"

For the unversed, Karan Johar, in an interview with The Indian Express, mentioned that he is really excited to watch Kangana's The Emergency, which is also under the diva's direction and production. For the unversed, this historical biographical drama film movie revolves around the historical event of the Indian Emergency. Kangana will be playing the lead role of the former PM of India, 'Indira Gandhi'. Coming back to KJO's comment, the eminent filmmaker also mentioned if he ever makes any film on a political event, he will take Kangana in it. Karan could be quoted as saying:
"The emergency is being made and I am excited to watch it.”
Kangana Ranaut left everyone baffled with her unfiltered opinion after she appeared on Karan Johar's show, Koffee With Karan. For the unversed, during that episode, Karan asked Kangana who in the industry gives her an unnecessary attitude. To this, the actress bashed KJo and called him 'movie mafia' and even labelled him as the flag bearer of nepotism.
