Kangana Ranaut recently hit the headlines when she was invited to be the Chief Guest for the Ramleela celebrations held on Dussehra in Delhi’s Red Fort. The event was a high-profile one, as it was attended by Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal and Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, among others. However, the highlight of the event was the fact that Kangana became the first woman ever to perform the Ravan Dahan, as she shot an arrow at the effigy of Ravana, thus setting it on fire. But it seems that this momentous occasion was not taken in a positive light by a section of netizens.
Taking to the social media platform, X (formerly known as Twitter), eminent political leader, Subramaniam Swamy re-shared a post by a netizen, where the choice of Kangana Ranaut as the chief guest at the Ramleela function in Delhi was questioned. The post also contained an old picture of the actress, who looked sexy donning a white-hued swimwear. Furthermore, the political leader questioned the choice of the actress for such an auspicious occasion.

Well, it seems Kangana Ranaut did take note of it and slammed shut the political leader for the same. Tweeting her reply to the post, the diva called out Subramanium Swamy to be sounding like a pervert, amidst deep rooted sexism. She even bashed the leader and voiced her opinion as to how women are not just meant for their fleshly needs or sex. Her tweet can be read as:
“With a swimsuit picture and sleazy narrative you are suggesting that I have nothing else to offer except for my flesh to get my way in politics ha ha I am an artist arguably the greatest of all time in hindi films, a writer, director, producer, revolutionary right wing influencer, had there been a young male mavrick instead of me who could possibly be a great future leader and deserving of guidance and mentorship would you still imply that he is probably selling his flesh to get his way in politics? Deep rooted sexism and dormant lust for female body making you sound like a pervert. Women are not just for sex, they have other organs as well like brain, heart, hands, feet and everything else that a man has or it takes to be a great leader.”
In an earlier interaction with Times Now, Kangana Ranaut revealed interesting anecdotes from her personal life and mentioned how she has always manifested to get married and have a family of her own. She mentioned being a family person always and highlighted that she would want to settle down in her marriage within five years from now. In her words:
“Every girl dreams of her marriage and of having a family. I am a completely family person, it is very important to me. I want to be married and have a family and it will happen before five years. It will be good if it is a mix of arranged and love marriage.”

Back during a media event for her 2019-film, Manikarnika, Kangana had casually chatted about her past relationships. She took a sarcastic dig at her past relationships and mentioned how she never got a chance to dump any of her ex-partners. She even added how after dumping her, they would eventually come back to her, but that time, she wouldn’t take them back and give them another chance.
