Recently, Kangana took to her social media handle to criticise Sonu Sood for his Ramayan-inspired comment when a social media user tried to criticise him.
Kangana has always used her social media platforms to share her views. Recently, the actress took to X and slammed her former co-star, Sonu Sood, for supporting a food vendor's video by citing an example from Ramayan. The netizens have already criticised Sonu Sood and Kangana was the latest to join the league. While sharing a post about Sonu Sood's support, Kangana penned:

"Next you know Sonu ji will direct his own Ramayana based on his own personal findings about God and religion. Wah kya baat hai Bollywood se ek aur Ramayana.”

Earlier this week, a new controversy surfaced on social media when a user shared a post about a street vendor. In the video, we could see that food vendor was making rotis for his customers, by spitting on the dough. The video was shared by a user to slam Sonu Sood's statement that only 'humanity' should be displayed as UP authorities made it essential for eateries on the Kanwar Yatra route to display the names of their owners. While sharing the video, the user had written:
"The roti smeared with spit should be parcelled to Sonu Sood, so that brotherhood remains intact!"
Instead of getting angry, Sonu Sood took the comment calmly and compared it with Shabri and Lord Ram. However, it soon invited the wrath of netizens who were unhappy with his statement. Sonu had written:
"Our Shri Ram Ji ate the sour berries of Shabri, so why can't I eat them? Violence can be defeated by non-violence my brother. Humanity must just remain intact. Jai Shri Ram".

Sonu Sood was last seen in the Kannada film, Sreemanta. He will next be seen in Fateh alongside Jacqueline Fernandez and Naseeruddin Shah. On the other hand, Kangana's film, Emergency will be released on September 7, 2024.
