In a world full of star kids getting things served on a silver platter, Kangana Ranaut made her own path and climbed the ladder of success. While everyone was keen on finding roles in a big budget film, the actress started from scratch and proved her acting prowess to the world. And her achievements roared like a lion in the face of all those, who had once mocked her. Apart from her films, she is also famous for addressing nepotism in the industry openly, and made everyone think twice before signing a star kid. Apart from her famous fight for the right, Kangana has also landed herself in some big controversies, one of it being her spat with Hrithik Roshan. For those who don't know, they were in a relationship. But their relationship ended on an ugly note which resulted in a disaster. And names were involved and things were said in the media that left a huge scar that no apology can ever heal.
And when we thought that the matter has been buried, there was a new twist in the picture. A couple of days ago, Kangana's sister, Rangoli Chandel had revealed that Hrithik's sister, Sunaina has been calling them to apologise for not standing up with her when her brother tried defaming the actress. She had also revealed that they had shared a good rapport with her. Recently, in an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, Kangana confirmed the same, and shared, "It is true that Sunaina and I were always good friends and so was her family. Yes, she has been in touch with me, but I don't want to take advantage of her family dispute. Sunaina is still a friend but I will not hit somebody when they are down." In a 2017 interview, Kangana had talked about the trauma, she went through during her fight for justice against Hrithik. She had shared, "When you deal with malice and betrayal from someone who you have been extremely close to, of course, it does affect you. There is a character assassination - that too publicly - by that individual in whom you put all your faith and love. It has been very hard to deal with. But the fighter instinct in me dominates every other instinct. I did not think twice. I see so many women committing suicide and falling into depression and my only point is why do they fail to attack? I'm not saying strip others of their dignity too. But you have got to say no to the healer archetype. I am extremely bold. I sent a notice back. I did not take it lying down."
She had further added, "My own family, my mother was like don't do all these things and say, "Bade log hain tumhe marwa daalenge." She would cry all the time. Out of concern and love, they wanted me to shut up not because they don't know want the truth to be out but (because) that's the best thing. But that's not the way to live. If you let your guard down, the other person then gets an opportunity to attack you. It is important to protect yourself."

Kangana had also shared that she was fighting for what she believes in, "I was not fighting any individual battle but fighting against many prejudices. I took it all in my stride. So I am a whore, I'm sexually attractive, have psychological problems, capable of falling in love with men passionately. So what is my future? What should be done with me. They have nothing to say. They can't kill the fierceness." (Don't Miss: Malaika Arora Gets Brutally Trolled For Wearing 'Indecent' Dress On An Outing With Son, Arhaan Khan)
