A proof of the same was posted by Rangoli in April 2020 when she had tweeted two pictures from her wedding day and her striking resemblance with Kangana had surprised us. Rangoli seemed to be an identical twin of Kangana in her wedding pictures. Rangoli had captioned her post as "This is from my wedding day, in those days weddings were understated not like today these days brides prepare for months but to me my wedding was happening actually sunk in on the day of wedding itself and it was done."
As Rangoli Chandel turned 37 on December 2, 2020, and to make this day super-special, her sister, Kangana Ranaut had a paw-fect surprise for her. To wish her ‘one and only’ on her birthday and introducing the newest addition in the Chandel family, Kangana wrote, “Happy birthday to my one and only, though @rangoli_r_chandel is always happy and giggly but I know essentially deep down she is a mom, here’s another addition to her family.... friends meet Gappu Chandel...” Rangoli’s happiness knows no bounds as she posed with Gappu Chandel.
To mark Guru Purnima on July 5, 2020, Rangoli Chandel had penned a heartfelt tribute for her ‘first ever little Guru’. Crediting Kangana for teaching her how to become a person worth living on this planet and incessantly working on her despite her giving a hard time, Rangoli had written, "Wherever I'm, Whatever Good Exists In Me Is Very Much Because Of You. Happy Guru Purnima to my first ever little guru !!! You taught me how to be a person worth living on this planet, yes, I still have to work on myself. But thank you so so much for incessantly working on me and my well being though I give you hard time some time, but you never left my hand! A few months ago, Rangoli Chandel had shifted to her new house in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh with her husband and son, Prithvi. Kangana Ranaut had designed her sister’s new abode by sourcing materials from the domestic market. Kangana had made sure the essence of her family remains untouched while designing the house. How Kangana had made her sit to take notes for understanding her preferences for the designs, Rangoli had stated in an interview with Pinkvilla, “We hired a local contractor from Kullu. I am not into décor. Kangana asked me what kind of house you want - Italian, French, Victorian, hill house or colonial. I said I don’t know all of these. I want a house which reflects my personality. So, Kangana made me and Ajay sit and made notes to understand our preferences.”
How Kangana Ranaut had made sure to incorporate every single preference of her sister while designing this home, Rangoli Chandel had continued, “Kangana loves old and rustic designs, but I told her I don’t want it that way. I like rustic and vintage, but I wanted something new and practical. Since it’s a hilly area, one can see a lot of woodworks. I told Kangana that we must use wood. I also told her that I love marble stones which she doesn’t.
