Popular comedian, Kapil Sharma and his beautiful wife, Ginni Chatrath are the most talked-about couple in the television fraternity. Their sweet romance had begun when Ginni was in her college. She had crossed paths with Kapil when he had visited her college for his theatre play. From helping him in auditions to bringing home-cooked food every day, Ginni had unknowingly fallen in love with Kapil during those magical days.
Soon, Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath were pronounced husband and wife on December 12, 2018, in Jalandhar. As Kapil and Ginni were to complete one year of their marital bliss in 2019, God had blessed the madly-in-love couple with the best gift. Kapil and Ginni had embraced parenthood two days before their first wedding anniversary and had become proud parents to a baby girl, Anayra Sharma. And the family of three was completed with the arrival of their second child, Trishaan Sharma, in February 2021.

Kapil Sharma is currently doing shows in Canada with his team of The Kapil Sharma Show. Ever since Kapil had arrived in Vancouver with his troupe for their concert, the comedian has been sharing hilarious snippets on his IG feed from the same. On June 28, 2022, Kapil took to his Instagram handle and dropped a Reel from his comedy show in Canada. In the video, the doting hubby was seen talking about his wifey, Ginni, to the audience and roasting her. He hilariously said to Ginni how she never listens to him, but here millions of people are waiting to hear him by paying for tickets. However, Kapil apologised to his wifey for teasing her and wrote, “Sorry” in the caption. Check out the funny video:
Kapil's mother, Janak Rani shares a warm bond with her daughter-in-law, Ginni Chatrath. In one of the episodes of The Kapil Sharma Show, Janak had opened up about her home’s kitchen and had also showered heaps of praises on her bahu, Ginni. It was when Kapil had started saying that before his wedding to Ginni, his mommy used to cook very good baingan ka bharta, saag etc, but now her social circle has changed. Answering this, his mother, Janak, who was sitting in the audience, had mentioned how she is now fully unknown to her kitchen and can’t find any spices upon entering there. Janak had said:
"I can't even find masala, tea leaves, sugar etc when I enter the kitchen now. My daughter-in-law is very good. I feel very lucky that I got a daughter-in-law like her. My son is also very good, and my daughter-in-law is also very good."

In a promo video of Kapil Sharma’s stand-up, I Am Not Done Yet, the comedian-actor had opened up about his love story with his wife, Ginni Chatrath. He had thanked an alcohol brand for giving him the courage to propose to Ginni over a phone call. Calling Ginni his favourite among all the actresses, Kapil had revealed that they used to do theatre together. He had shared:
“I used to assign a lot of work to her. She used to call me and report what happened and how much they had rehearsed today. I had Officer’s Choice. I lifted the call and asked her, ‘Do you love me?’ She was shocked. She was wondering how did I summon up the courage. I am thankful that I hadn't had toddy that day, else the question would have been something else.”
On the work front, Kapil Sharma is seen on his comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show.
