Sonakshi Sinha is one of the much-loved actresses in the Hindi film industry. The daughter of Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, Sonakshi made her debut in Bollywood with the movie, Dabangg back in 2010. Apart from that, she was also seen in movies like Rowdy Rathore, Son Of Sardaar, Dabangg 2, Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, Mission Mangal, and Dahaad, among others. Moreover, her role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar has grabbed all the attention.
Sonakshi Sinha, in the series, played the role of 'Fareedan' and won everyone's hearts with her craft. The actress, along with her Heeramandi co-stars, will be seen in Kapil Sharma's Netflix show, The Great Indian Kapil Show. Moreover, Kapil and Sonakshi's funny banter left everyone in splits. In a segment, Kapil asked Sonakshi about her marriage plans and added that everyone, including Alia Bhatt and Kiara Advani, got married. To this, Sonakshi gave a witty reply and asked Kapil if he was deliberately teasing her as he knew how desperately she wanted to get married. Sonakshi can be quoted as saying:
"Aap jale pe namak daal rahe ho na. Wo jaanta hai mujhe kitne zor se shaadi karni hai."

For the unversed, Sonakshi Sinha has been speculated to be dating one of her co-actors, Zaheer Iqbal, for a long time now. Although, the duo never accepted being in a relationship with one another or denied it, their mushy bond and joint appearances often ignite their dating rumours. Be it their bond on the red carpets or adorable birthday wishes for one another, Sonakshi and Zaheer often keep their fans melting over their bond.
It was last year when Sonakshi and her beau, Zaheer joined the success party of the film, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. When the duo was posing together, the paps asked the duo 'shaadi kab hai' and complimented them as 'nice jodi'. However, such comments left the actress all blushy.
Earlier, in an interview with NDTV, Sonakshi Sinha's Heeramandi co-stars, Richa Chadha and Sharmin Segal talked about their wedding. Richa shared how she got married only ten days ahead of the shoot of a song for the series. She added that Sanjay Leela Bhansali joked that the cast was like a “This is like a marriage bureau.” However, Sonakshi was asked if she was the one to get married next. To this, Sonakshi thanked the interviewer. When asked if she has found the man of her dreams, Sonakshi added:
"No, let me choose first. Then I will let you know.”

Sonakshi Sinha did proper justice to her role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's dream project, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. As per several reports, the actress was paid a whopping amount of Rs. 2 crore. Talking about work experience with Sanjay, Sonakshi added that the former had been fond of him since Rowdy Rathore. The actress also thanked the director for trusting her with such a role in Heeramandi.
