Bigg Boss 17 fans have been eagerly waiting for the Weekend Ka Vaar, which will shed light on what happened during the Family Week on the show. One of the big discussion topics is going to be the conversation between Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain's mother, Ranjana Jain. The way Ranjana condemned Ankita's actions and blamed everything on the latter, left fans enraged.
It all started when Ankita Lokhande's mother-in-law, Ranjana Jain, entered the show, Bigg Boss 17, she expressed her disappointment over her bahu hitting Vicky with a slipper and condemned her actions. Vicky’s mom even went on to reveal that his father called Ankita’s mom right after the incident and asked the latter if she also used to hit her husband. This left Ankita shocked, and she was heartbroken to see how her in-laws were dragging her late father into the fiasco.

As Karan Johar replaced Salman Khan during the Weekend Ka Vaar, he called out Vicky Jain for being completely indifferent to what Ankita Lokhande was going through. The host added that while Vicky is not expected to side with his wife, he should have at least bothered to check on her emotions. Karan said that Vicky just had to ask Ankita what happened and be there by her side. The host said:
"Ankita ko aake aapse sawal puchti hai, to ek pati hone ke naate, aapko unke peeche khade hona chahiye. Aur mai ye nahi keh raha ki unhe kuchh bhi bolna chahiye apni maa ke khilaaf. All he had to do was ask you Ankita kya hua?"
Later, Vicky Jain was seen asking Ankita Lokhande what had happened, and the latter told him all about what her mother-in-law had said to her. However, Vicky seemingly supported his father's actions and said that whatever the former said was from the perspective of a parent. He further told Ankita that the way she loses control of her emotions on the show looks wrong.
"What did your father would have said? Ek father ko wo feeling aa sakti hai ya nahi aa sakti? Aap kahin pe apni cheez sambhal nahi paati hai an, or his tarah see aap use mere paas le kar aati hain, wo sahi nahi dikh raha national television par. Aap kab samjhogi is baat ko?"

For the longest time, netizens have noticed how Vicky Jain has been talking to a lot of people on Bigg Boss 17, except his wife, Ankita Lokhande. Now, as the video was shared online, fans praised Karan Johar for calling out Vicky and pointing out how Vicky has been emotionally unavailable for the actress. While some credited Karan as the most deserving host after Salman Khan, others slammed Vicky for supporting his father's actions.
