Karan Johar Drops The First Poster Of Siddhant Chaturvedi's And Triptii Dimri's Film, 'Dhadak 2'

After a long wait and several assumptions, finally filmmaker, Karan Johar dropped the first poster of his upcoming film, Dhadak 2. The film stars a new and fresh pairing of two talented actors, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri. This romantic drama is all set to hit the theatres on August 1, 2025, and it promises to explore themes like love, identity and society pressures. The film is expected to be an original film with fresh faces.

Dhadak 2 is the much awaited and anticipated sequel of the 2018 film, Dhadak which starred Janhvi Kapoor and Ishan Khatter in lead roles. The first film explored the theme of young love and challenges of inter-cast marriage. Dhadak 2 brings a new story with two new and talented faces of today's time, Siddharth Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri in lead roles. The film is directed by Shazia Iqbal and is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The cast also includes actors like Vipin Sharma, Manjiri Pupala, Deeksha Joshi and more. As posted by Karan Johar, the trailer will be released on July 11, 2025 and the film will hit the big screen on August 1, 2025.

Siddhant Chaturvedi was born on April 29, 1993, and at an early age he moved to Mumbai. Before turning into an actor-model, he pursued chartered accountancy. He debuted in web-series, Life Sahi Hai and Inside Edge, but received widespread popularity with his role in the film, Gully Boy, where his performance won a lot of hearts. Over the years, he has given outstanding performances in films like Gehraiyaan, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Phone Bhoot, Yudhra and more. He also featured on Forbes Asia's '30 Under 30'. 

More about Triptii Dimri

Triptii Dimri was born on February 23, 1994, and made her debut with the film, Mom, but later gained a little bit of recognition with the film, Laila Majnu, Bulbbul and Qala. Despite giving powerful performances in these films, she gained a lot of recognition and love through her role in the film, Animal, after which fans even called her the "National Crush." Later, she went on to appear in films like Bad Newz and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Her upcoming films include, Animal Park with Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Ustara with Shahid Kapoor.
