Karan Johar is the most-loved filmmaker, who is known for making OG films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham and many more. Apart from being an ace director, host, writer, and whatnot, he is also famous for his sense of humour, and he knows how to laugh at others and himself. Karan often becomes the subject of trolls for his unusual life choices and clothing style, but this time he gave back to a troll, who asked him to get a 'bahu' for his mother's time pass.
Karan Johar got triggered by a comment left by a troll on his latest post on Instagram. He took to his Instagram stories to express his point of view and shared how his family dynamics work. For the unversed, it happened after Karan shared pictures of his latest look for the latest episode of Koffee With Karan 8. One user tried trolling him and wrote, "Bahu laa do maa ko time pass nahi hota hoga."

Sharing a screenshot of the comment, Karan shared that he has been abused and judged for his life choices. He further added that a daughter-in-law is not a subject of 'time pass' and called it a ridiculous and regressive thought. Karan also stated that his mother helps him in co-parenting his children and doesn't need any 'time pass' in her life. He wrote:
"My mother coparents my children with me and doesn’t need any “time pass”...her life is complete by the love we receive from her and do our best to give it back with all our heart! And bringing in a “bahu” is not an option to whoever is concerned about my relationship status! My children are blessed to have my mother guide us all…"
Karan further cleared the air about having a life partner in his life. He stated that whenever he decides to settle down it would be on his terms. He added that if he decided to have a life partner he would do so to fill the void in his life and not anyone else's.

After the birth of Yash and Roohi, Karan opened up about his journey. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Karan talked about the same and stated that his life changed after the arrival of Yash and Roohi. At the age of 44, he hopped onto the fatherhood journey, and he loved the time when he was making his kids eat, sleep, burp and poop.
