Karan Johar's talk show, Koffee With Karan is coming back with its eighth season, and people are super excited for the same. While fans have been waiting with bated breath for new updates about the show, Karan recently announced that the show will premiere on October 26, 2023, on Disney+Hotstar. A few moments back, Karan shared a new promo for the show on his Instagram handle, wherein he displayed his witty self.
In the video, Karan Johar got a call from his ‘Konscience’ and stated that he was making a guest list for the show, KWK 8. The filmmaker suggests a few names to include in this season’s guestlist, comprising of his enemies, non-star kids and single people, among others. Taking a dig at himself in the promo, Karan said, “This time on season 8, why don’t I just call my enemies?” To this, his 'Konscience' replied:

“Then the season will go on till you’re 80.”

As soon as Karan Johar dropped the video on social media, netizens flooded the comment section with their suggestions for the guest list. While the video was super entertaining in itself, netizens were curious to know if Karan Johar was hinting at Kangana Ranaut's entry on the show. Reacting to the same, one user penned, "@karanjohar Kangana maybe". Another social media user asked, "Is he gonna invite Kangana Ranaut?" Check out the comments below:

Kangana Ranaut and Karan Johar's rivalry needs no introduction, as the duo's rift has been a part of the entertainment industry for a long time. The actress, who labelled Karan as the 'flag-bearer of nepotism', has time and again, hit the headlines for bashing him. Kangana and Karan's feud, which originally started during an episode of Koffee With Karan, became a hot topic of discussion, as the actress even declared the filmmaker to be running a 'movie mafia' in the Indian film industry. The duo doesn't get along, and they have shown it publically as well.

However, it looks like the water is under the bridge for the duo, and Karan and Kangana might come together soon. Earlier, in an interview with The Indian Express, Karan Johar hinted at his probable patch-up with Kangana Ranaut after 6 years of their feud. During the conversation, the filmmaker opened up about Kangana’s upcoming film, Emergency and shared his excitement to watch the film on-screen. Karan had said:
“The emergency is being made and I am excited to watch it.”
