There is no denying the fact that Ranbir Kapoor has emerged as one of the best actors amongst the crowd of star kids. Since the beginning, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh’s son has proved his mettle to the world with his impeccable acting skills. Ranbir debuted in Bollywood in 2007 with the film, Saawariya alongside Sonam Kapoor. And the 41-year-old actor has led some of the most-loved and appreciated movies in contemporary times. He has starred in Barfi, Sanju, Tamasha, Rockstar, Animal, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, and more.
The famous filmmaker, Karan Johar, who is known for launching star kids in Bollywood, once shared his admiration for the popular actor, Ranbir Kapoor. KJo revealed that, unlike other actors, Ranbir does not have different managing teams or a public relations person to manage or handle his professional life. During an interview with Mid-Day in September 2023, Karan was asked by the host to share the difference between Ranbir and Ranveer Singh, during which he spoke in detail about Ranbir's professionalism and lauded the actor. He said:
“He does one film at a time; he handles his own dates. There is no PR, there is no manager, there is nobody around him. He is on his own. You ask him for dates, he opens his phone, he has all his own dates, he knows exactly which plans he's doing, he knows his schedule, he knows his days off, he knows his holidays.”

Karan also mentioned that Ranbir tends to detach himself after a point and can comfortably have his meals without anyone's company. He also mentioned that the Barfi actor is the most patient human being ever, and the actor can wait for 14 hours straight without even getting angry. KJo further added:
“Ranbir is that guy who will study so hard but come across to school and feel like ‘I don’t know what you guys are talking about, it is an easy breezy day'. He can't pretend because he is too true to what he is. He is the most relaxed person, he's the most patient human being, you can keep him waiting for 14 hours on a set, and he won't say a thing.”

In an interview with Times Now a few years ago, Ranbir Kapoor shared his two cents on public relations. The actor mentioned that PR is actually harmful to any actor who is trying to prove their skills. He said that PR must be used intelligently. Otherwise, it becomes addictive in the long run. Ranbir said:
“PR is the death of an actor. What happens is when you use PR the wrong way, you start believing it. People who plant articles about themselves or about other people, it becomes a very addictive game. And you start believing that my stardom is dependent only on how many times my face is featured on the cover of a magazine. I think PR is something you have to use intelligently, where your skills are concerned."
Karan Johar recently returned to the silver screens after a seven-year hiatus. His last directed film was Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in 2016. In 2023, KJo directed the immensely successful film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh.
