Narrating his funny baking blunder, Karan said, "During the pandemic when the lockdown began, I called a friend who makes great food and told her that I wanted to bake a cake for my babies. My kids were very excited and they were helping me out. The cake had butter, it had sugar, it had chocolates and all the other goodies, and we also made the icing separately. So, I put that in the oven but it didn't rise because the one thing that I didn't read was the baking powder."

No. My son likes pink, let him wear pink."

Some time ago, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Karan had talked about fatherhood and had said, “My life has changed since Roohi and Yash arrived. At 44, this is my biggest blockbuster. I still haven’t realised the enormity of what’s happened. They’re only two months old. And all they do is eat, sleep, burp, wail and poop. Kabhi khushi, kabhie gham! While I stare at them in wonder. But I can’t get over the fact that they are mine."
