Karan Singh Grover Loved Jennifer Winget? Dill Mill Gayye Director Says, 'He Had Women Flocking...'

Karan Singh Grover is one of the most charming actors in the film industry. He began his career in showbiz with TV and gained massive fame before making his way into films. However, apart from Karan's work, his love life has been a frequent subject of discussion among the media. The actor's relationship with Dill Mill Gaye co-star and actress, Jennifer Winget made headlines in the TV industry. The couple soon married in 2012, much to the delight of fans, but parted ways within two years. Although none of the actors spoke much about their bond, the show's director recalled their love story in a new interview. 

Karan Singh Grover' genuinely' loved Jennifer Winget 

Siddharth P Malhotra, who directed Dill Mill Gayye, recently sat down for an interview with Siddharth Kannan. During his interview, the filmmaker opened up about Karan Singh Grover and Jennifer Winget's romance and revealed that their wonderful on-screen chemistry might have given way to their real-life romance. He shared that the actors performed multiple romantic scenes on the show, and their love story seemed to be straight out of films. In his words: 

"Their romance started on set. They had to perform romantic sequence upon romantic sequence with each other, and it was a proper rom-com."

Siddharth complimented Karan and admitted that he was a charming man, and his looks used to easily impress people. At the same time, he was a good person and received massive female attention when his role became popular on the show. However, he was unfazed because he had 'genuinely' fallen in love with Jennifer Winget. The director said: 

"He was, then and now, a good-looking man, a charming man and of course, he had women flocking towards him, and he fell in love. He genuinely fell in love with her. Otherwise, why would he get married? They got married."

In terms of work, Karan Singh Grover got success on TV and made a good start with films with the success of Hate Story 3. However, he soon faded from the scenes. When Siddharth was asked if Karan 'lost his way' in films, the director stated that since a lot went behind the scenes in the actor's life it could have affected him. Siddharth added: 

"A lot was going on in his life. With success, a lot comes into your life. I don't know if he 'lost his way' is the right term, but of course, things didn't go the way they should have gone. If he worked on his stardom then, it would have helped him. But these are the learnings we all go through in life."

Karan Singh Grover's love life 

Karan Singh Grover first married actress Shraddha Nigam in 2008, but the couple parted ways within 10 years of marriage. He later fell in love with Jennifer Winget on sets of Dill Mill Gayye, and the couple got married in 2012 but divorced in 2014, leaving their fans upset. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, the actress revealed that many bad things were written about him and her, invading their privacy. Consequently, she felt lost, but her work helped her overcome it. Later, Karan Singh Grover began dating Bipasha Basu while working on the set of Alone, and they tied the knot in 2016. The couple welcomed a daughter, Devi, in 2022.
