Karan Veer Mehra is in the news for his gameplay on the eighteenth season of Bigg Boss. While Karan's temperament often leads him into trouble on the show, the actor talks for the first time about his second marriage with ex-wife Nidhi Seth, which ended on a sour note. Karan and Nidhi got married in 2021 and divorced in 2023. He was earlier married to Devika Mehra.
In the latest promo of Bigg Boss 18, Karan Veer Mehra was seen talking about his failed marriages with co-contestant, Kashish Kapoor. When she asked him about his current relationship status, Karan stated that he is a single man and enjoying his life. Kashish further questioned if he ever committed or married, and Karan admitted about his marriage. After this, Kashish inquired if he was still married or divorced, Karan cites he was divorced.

Talking about his separations from his ex-partners, Karan shared that in the first marriage with Devika Mehra, they both became two different people and were not the same as they were when they had fallen in love. He said:
"In my first marriage, we both became different people and were not the same people who fell in love."
Karan Veer Mehra further discussed his second marriage with Nidhi Seth and called it a 'hasty decision'. The actor claimed that his second marriage was rushed because they had no idea when the third or fourth lockdown would happen or whether they would be alive or not. Karan also revealed that it was his second wife, Nidhi Seth's second marriage, and in all the rush, they thought that it would definitely work out. He was quoted as saying:
"We didn't know when the third or fourth lockdown would have had happened. We didn't know whether people would be alive or not so it happened at a moment of threat. We thought it would work so in that haste we got married."
Karan first revealed the reason for his separation from Nidhi Seth. He claimed that things took an ugly turn with small issues, which kept going on. Later, the male ego came in, which got hurt, and the clashes started. He was heard saying:
"Fir choti choti baato pe shuru hota hai then it goes on and on. And then choti si hoti hai male ego fir voh hurt ho jaati hai. Fir tum bol dete ho."
Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Nidhi Seth discussed the reason behind her divorce from her ex-husband, Karan Veer Mehra. She tagged her past as the biggest mistake of her life and added that as soon as she realised it, she decided to end the relationship and walk away. Nidhi remarked that mutual respect, financial security, and mental calm are the bare minimum necessities in any relationship.
