Karan Veer Mehra Breaks Silence On His Co-Contestants Not Clapping After His Win 'Khush Kam The Log'

Karan Veer Mehra was one of the most popular contestants on Bigg Boss 18 since its beginning. He made headlines for multiple reasons, including his bond with Chum Darang, clashes with Vivian Dsena, and revelations about his personal life. Karan's honest attitude, fun personality, and confidence charmed the audience, and he took home the prestigious trophy as the winner of the show. However, not everything was rosy for the actor. For instance, when he won, only a few of his co-contestants clapped for his moment, while the others wanted first-runner up, Vivian, to win. In a recent interview, Karan Veer Mehra shared his reaction. 

Karan Veer Mehra reveals if he was affected when no one clapped for him after he won 

Karan Veer Mehra has been in the spotlight since he won the popular reality TV show, Bigg Boss 18. He recently sat down for an interview with Pinkvilla, where he was asked if he was affected by his co-contestants not clapping for him. In response, the Amrit Manthan actor explained that he could feel a few voices cheering for him, which were the loudest. It included Chum Darang, Shilpa Shirodkar, and his sister, who were rooting for his win. So, he celebrated more with them. In his words: 

"Do teen logon ki jo thi bahut unchi thi. I think Chum, Shilpa, and my own sister jisko main baad mein mila kyunki, I was celebrating with them more."

However, Karan admitted that not everyone was equally happy with his win. Although, he didn't feel anything at the moment since he was elated at his win. However, he later watched some videos and saw many people spoke unpleasant things about him. The Pavitra Rishta actor admitted that he didn't feel bad about it but revealed that his mother's health was affected due to it, which left him worried. He said: 

"Khush kam the log. That time, I didn't realize. Now that I am seeing videos and people are talking bad about me. Apne liye itna bura nahi laga par, my mom fell sick watching the show kyunki mere baare mein negative itna. That is bothering me."

Karan Veer Mehra mentioned he couldn't understand why some people talked negatively about him 

In the same conversation, Karan Veer Mehra added that he couldn't understand why certain people turned negative towards him and said bad things. He didn't take names but mentioned that he had nothing to do with many of them and never said anything about them. However, despite everything, Karan said that he is grateful to his fans who supported him in winning the show. 

Karan Veer Mehra opens up about his future projects 

Karan Veer Mehra won Khatron Ke Khiladi before he entered the Bigg Boss 18 house and won it. Now, fans are waiting to see him in a new project. Sharing updates on the same, Karan mentioned that he was busy giving some auditions between interviews because not everyone saw him on the shows. Also, he doesn't consider it a struggle since he has become used to giving auditions since the beginning of his career. However, he is soon looking to finalise some projects for his fans.
