'BB 18': Karan Veer Mehra Reacts To Being Excluded From Vivian Dsena's Bash: 'Unko FOMO Hua Hai'

Days after the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 18 came to its glorious end, the drama between former housemates continues to make headlines. The show ended with Karan Veer Mehra bagging the winning trophy, leaving Vivian Dsena as the first runner-up. Now, the feud has escalated even after the show, with Karan not being invited to Vivian’s success bash to the latter unfollowing Karan on social media.

Karan Veer Mehra reacts to being excluded from Vivian’s bash

In a candid chat with Siddharth Kannan on his YouTube channel, Karan opened up about his experience during and after Bigg Boss 18. When asked about not being invited to Vivian’s party, Karan claimed that Vivian had a fear of missing out (FOMO). He was heard saying:

“Unko FOMO hua hai ki main party mein nahi aaya tha. Kaafi log hain jo mujhe bulana chaah rahe hai, jaha main nahi pohchunga toh bohot FOMO hoga.”

Talking about his fallout with Vivian Dsena, Karan reflected on why their friendship did not last. He revealed that he had expected Vivian to reassure him when he admitted to his jealousy. Instead, Vivian distanced himself, particularly after siding with Avinash Mishra — someone Karan had a conflict with. He also admitted to having felt a little ‘jealous’ of Vivian’s success. In his words:

“Unka perception toh nahi pata. But mereko to ye tha na. I was coming from a jealous space. And I have said it ki ‘tujhe kaafi kuchh easily mil gaya’. You are the ‘laadla’, you have been announced as the Top 2. Aur jo gaya bhi wo top 2 mein. You got things easily. Hum dono ki personal life upar neeche hui, but you are in a better personal space. So there is a little jealousy that I have… I thought when I told Vivian that I am coming from a jealous space, you being the bigger person would say ki ‘nahi yaar, tune bhi toh bohot kuchh kiya hai’. Toh we would have played it together.”

Former BB 18 contestant, Avinash Mishra felt ‘weird’ about Vivian not inviting Karan to his party

Avinash Mishra, one of the finalists of Bigg Boss 18, shared a close bond with Vivian Dsena and maintained a cordial relationship with Karan. During a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Avinash was asked about Karan's absence from Vivian's party.  In response, he recalled that he had even inquired about it with Vivian's wife, Nouran. She candidly revealed that Karan hadn’t been invited, which felt a little weird to him.

Vivian’s wife, Nouran also addressed the same in a public appearance after the grand party. Without mincing her words, Nouran shared that she was the one who was inviting the guests as it was a surprise party, and she only invited the contestants from the show who had not hurt them. It was gradually revealed that not only Karan but also his close group of friends on the reality show, including Chum Darang, Shilpa Shirodkar and Digvijay Rathee were also not invited to Vivian’s success bash.
