Bigg Boss 18 lasted for 105 days, and it left the audience glued to the TV screens with its high-octane drama. Well, after a nail-biting grand finale, Bigg Boss 18 announced Karan Veer Mehra as its winner. Karan Veer Mehra reportedly got a hefty amount of prize money along with the coveted trophy. Recently, a report revealed what the actor might do with this hefty fee he got, and a certain section of netizens couldn't agree with the same.
Recently, an insider page of Bigg Boss, Bigg Boss Tak shared a piece of information that Karan Veer Mehra has decided to use his Rs. 50 lakh prize money to fund his staff's kids' education. The page also quoted Karan saying to Midday that he didn't even collect his Khatron Ke Khiladi 14's prize money as well, and now he is going to take it, as he has been considering funding his staff's children's education. Karan reportedly also shared that he has been doing this to an extent now, but some of these children want to study further, which is why he has decided to sponsor the same. Karan Veer Mehra can be quoted as saying:
"I haven’t yet collected my Khatron Ke Khiladi money, but I plan to fund the education of my staff’s children. This is something I’ve been considering for a while. I’m already doing it to an extent, but some of them wish to study further, so I plan to sponsor that for them."
As this piece of information was shared online, netizens rushed to the comment section to react. While some users lauded Karan for his meaningful thinking, others stated that it's a mere PR game. Some users even accused Karan of being a 'fixed' winner of Bigg Boss 18. One user penned, "Is this a sympathy card to justify winning?" Another user commented, "PR started to image clear...good job". A third user wrote, "He didn't get a penny from the show. Nor the car. That was deal to make him the fixed winner."
Before entering Bigg Boss 18, Karan Veer Mehra had showcased his skills in Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. Not only did he show his skills, but he also won the show. So, winning Bigg Boss 18 soon after that has certainly made it extra special. Well, the actor reportedly got a Rs. 20 lakh cash prize with a brand-new Hyundai Creta for being the winner of KKK14. As per a report, he charged Rs. 6 lakh per week for participation in the show. On the other hand, in Bigg Boss, Karan's per week fee was reportedly Rs. 2 lakh.

After coming out of the Bigg Boss 18 house, Karan sat for several interviews, wherein he talked about his massive win in Salman Khan's show. Talking to News18, he said that he had always known that he would win. Well, taking to his IG handle, Karan Veer Mehra shared a photo that featured the coveted trophies that he won from Bigg Boss 18 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, respectively. Sharing the photo, Karan wrote:
"Agar yeh bolti toh ek dusre se kya kehti ?"
