Yes, according to a report by RadarOnline, Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are allegedly furious with their momager, Kris Jenner, after she privately signed a major deal to become the new face of MAC Cosmetics. For those unaware, MAC is a direct competitor of both of her daughter's beauty brands.

Why did the Kardashian family have a rift over MAC cosmetics? 

The drama between Kris Jenner and her popular daughters began when the 69-year-old momager reportedly signed a new partnership deal with MAC. The deal was signed shortly after debuting her post-facelift glow, which took the internet by storm. According to an insider at the outlet, Kim feels betrayed by her mom. She had built her beauty line from the beginner, and witnessing her mom side with her competition did not go down well with her. At the same time, Kylie, the founder of a billion-dollar empire, Kylie Cosmetics, is also upset with her mother for the same reason. In the insider's words:

"Kim feels betrayed. She built her beauty line from scratch, only to have her own mother jump in bed with the competition." 

Moreover, sources close to the family revealed that Kris has always wanted to sign big brand deals. But, this one has allegedly "crossed a line". The insider added that it would be a different matter if Kris had just explored new brand deals. However, signing a deal with a rival brand of her daughters is a 'whole new level of cold'. Despite the backlash, Kris reportedly remains unapologetic and considers it just another business. For the matriarch, it is just another significant move in her decades-long career.

New York-based plastic surgeon Dr Steven Levine reportedly performed the procedure. According to sources, Kris underwent a complex surgery known as a "deep plane facelift," designed to lift deeper facial tissues for a more natural and youthful result. The surgery even included an eyelid surgery and fat transfer to add volume to her cheeks. According to the source, Kris is concerned about having flawless skin, and the criticism over her earlier skin 'dropping' shook her, in turn prompting the need for the procedure.
