Kareena Kapoor's AI Animation At Party In Karachi Surfaces Online, Netizens Say, 'Saif Wahi Aake..'

Apart from them, outside the industry, several creators have also been using digital technology, holograms and AI to experiment by using celebrity avatars. Sometimes, these attempts impress netizens, but recently, an animated AI version of Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor has left her fans angry. Rather than receiving praise, a new debate has begun online. Here's why.

Kareena Kapoor's AI version showed at a rave party in Karachi 

An inside video from a rave party in Karachi has gone viral on the internet, where the creators used AI to create an animation of Kareena Kapoor. Since the diva has fans both inside the country and across the border, the guests at the party were delighted. However, netizens are not happy with the animation's bizarre appearance and low quality. At the same time, the dance moves of the animation combined with loud music made everything more weird. The text on the video read: 

"Pov, you are at a rave party in Karachi, Pakistan and Kareena Kapoor starts dancing in front of you."

In the AI animation, Kareena is seen wearing a formal outfit with a violet-hued shirt and hair tied back in a ponytail. It is a big shift from the diva's fashionable and trend-setting look. The video was reportedly shared by a DJ, Hamza Haris, who introduces himself as a 'Quintessential Karachi Boi' in his Instagram bio. He shared his inspiration behind the track and penned:

"Been working on this track for a minute, and I finally wrapped it up just in time for the show. I knew it had to have a visual if I was gonna play it. The track was inspired while I was watching Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and I sampled that iconic moment when Pooh says—well, you know the line. So I thought, why not have Kareena Kapoor dancing? It's iconic. It's chaotic. And honestly, no one's done that at a rave before."

Netizens slam Kareena Kapoor's AI animation from Karachi. 

In the video, the party crowd was cheering when Kareena Kapoor's AI Avatar came on-screen. But, netizens were unimpressed to see it. Some cracked jokes over it, while others called it an insult to our icon. One netizen felt that showcasing Kareena in that way was insulting and penned, "No way, this is an insult to our icon." Another user who was left impressed wrote, "Instagram needs a dislike button at this point." Another fan gave a humorous twist to the situation and wrote, "Saif wahi aake marega. Kareena ko corporate girl bana diya."
