And with so many stars under one roof, how can spicy happenings evade us? It was just 2 years ago when Shahid Kapoor and his ex, Kareena Kapoor Khan gave a ‘moment of the year’ when they greeted and hugged each other at the Lux Golden Rose Awards. While Shahid congratulated Kareena for her soon-to-be-born baby, Kareena too, congratulated him for his daughter, Misha Kapoor. And now, two years later, Shahid Kapoor’s ex, Kareena Kapoor Khan and his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor exchanged pleasantries and hugged each other.
According to a SpotboyE report, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor entered Antilia for Isha-Anand’s wedding within some minutes difference from Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Karisma Kapoor. As per the reports, when Kareena and Mira came face-to-face in the lobby of the Ambanis residence, the beautiful ladies put behind their woes and hugged each other. Shahid and Saif, who have worked together in Vishal Bharadwaj’s Rangoon, too greeted each other with warmth.
For Isha Ambani’s wedding, Kareena Kapoor Khan looked mesmerising in an Anita Dongre ensemble, an ivory organza lehenga, crafted with delicate silver sequins and intricate zardozi work. Bebo’s attire included a noodle strap short blouse teamed with a high waisted lehenga skirt with silver work on it and a complimenting sheer dupatta. Kareena's entire look was accentuated with a pearl maang teeka, heavy dangler earrings, golden eyes and nude lips. Take a look:

Even Mira Rajput Kapoor opted for a Anita Dongre ensemble and looked phenomenal in a beautifully handcrafted wine Nusrat Lehenga and a short kurti, intricately embroidered with the designer's signature craft of gotta patti. Pulled back hair with silver chandbalis and minimal makeup accentuated her look.
If reports are to be believed, before announcing the news of his wedding with Mira Rajput, Shahid Kapoor shared it with his ex, Kareena Kapoor Khan. According to Miss Malini, Kareena had stated, “Both of us were performing at a Femina event. We chatted. So he actually told me about him getting married before he told the media. I’m very happy for him. He’s doing very well professionally… I haven’t seen Haider yet, but my sister saw it and loved it. And I can vouch for marriage being cool. I’d just like to wish him well.” (Also Read: 11 Women In Shahid Kapoor's Life: From Kareena Kapoor To Mira Rajput)
As per another report by Business Standard, Kareena Kapoor Khan was quoted as saying, "I was aware about his marriage. Shahid had told me he is getting married. I am happy. Marriage is a beautiful commitment and I wish him all the best." Even Saif had congratulated Shahid when he met him at the opening ceremony of IPL 8 (Indian Premier League). According to a report, a source had revealed, “Shahid and Saif did bump into each other. But surprisingly there was no awkwardness whatsoever. In fact, Saif congratulated him on the wedding news and wished him luck.”
Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor’s relationship had always been the talk of the town and the awkwardness between this ex-couple has faded away over time. Kareena and Shahid ended their four-years-of relationship during the shooting of Jab We Met. Shahid and Kareena’s co-star from Jab we Met, Tarun Raj Arora (the guy who played Anshuman), had spilt some beans on their relationship and break up.
In an interview with Hindustan Times in 2017, Tarun had revealed, “The tough time in their relationship did not affect the shooting, but I could see that things were a bit weird. When you have a couple on set, you expect them to be a little lovey-dovey and happy. There was an air of discomfort. However, I thought that they are serious actors and didn't let their personal equation affect their work. They did not even joke with each other.” (Also Read: Deepika Padukone And Ranveer Singh's Reception: Old Flames And New Relationships Under One Roof)
