Kareena Kapoor Khan At 44 Going To Romance Actor 20 Years Younger Than Her, Details Inside

Kareena Kapoor Khan is famously known for breaking stereotypes and staying relevant over 25 years in Bollywood. When her peers said that her career would be over after her marriage, Kareena proved them wrong, showing that it was just the start of her super stardom. After the birth of her first child, she gave the superhit film, Veere Di Wedding while fighting the postpartum blues. Now, the actress is going to be first heroine in Bollywood to romance a younger actor in his twenties. 

Kareena Kapoor Khan to romance a younger actor in her upcoming film

According to a report by Deccan Chronicle, Kareena is going to romance a twenty-year-younger actor in her upcoming film. The source revealed that it is a unique story in the ghost genre, wherein Kareena will portray the role of the female ghost. The source said:

"This quirky story featuring Kareena as a ghost has a refreshing script and will carve out a new space in the ghost genre. It’s a fun, genre-bending take, and Kareena is perfect for it."

The report also added that the film is written by Hussain Dalal, who often collaborated with Ayan Mukerji. They have worked together on the film, Brahmastra Part 1. The report claimed that Kareena will be starring opposite an actor, who is in his early 20s. However, neither the actor's name has been revealed, nor has an official confirmation been made about the project. 

Bollywood actors often romance younger actresses 

For the uninitiated, in Bollywood, older actors are often paired with younger actresses onscreen. Recently, Ranveer Singh made headlines for romancing Sara Arjun, who is just 18 years old, in the upcoming film, Dhurandhar. Earlier, Madhavan was trolled for acting opposite Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Salman Khan was also not spared for starring opposite Rashmika Mandanna. Amid it, Kareena romancing a younger actor is a breath of fresh air.

Recently, Kareena took to her Instagram handle and posted a couple of pictures from her beach vacation. In the photos, the actress was seen showcasing her toned body and tanned appearance in a monokini. Kareena was dressed up in a nude-toned monokini with black asymmetrical lines. She styled it with a pink flip-flops. No makeup and hair left open completed her look. In the first photo, Kareena strikes a pose with a beach backdrop. Another was her candid flipping of hair.

Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor Khan, who has completed her 25 years in the film industry, will be starring in the film, Daayra, directed by Meghna Gulzar. The film explores the people and their complex and challenging realities unfolding in society. Crime-drama thrillers explore the age-old paradox of crime, punishment, and justice. It features Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran in commanding roles. The film is co-written by Yash and Sima alongside Meghan.
