The year 2020 is quite special for Kareena Kapoor Khan, not only because she turned 40 but the gorgeousness had completed two decades in Bollywood. After making her debut in Refugee, opposite Abhishek Bachchan, there was no looking back for her. With some stellar performances in Omkara, Jab We Met, Udta Punjab, Chameli, and many more, Kareen’s Tashan couldn’t be tamed by anyone. During the shooting of Tashan, she had madly fallen in love with the Nawab of Bollywood, Saif Ali Khan. And on October 16, 2012, Bebo had become the Begum of Bollywood when she had tied the knot with Saif. The lovely couple had welcomed their first child, Taimur Ali Khan on December 20, 2016, and is all set to welcome their second child in 2021.
Kareena Kapoor Khan celebrated her 40th birthday on September 21, 2020, and received adorable wishes from all over the world. She celebrated her day with her family and close friends. Her sister Karisma Kapoor took to her IG handle and shared a picture where Bebo was seen cutting her ‘super mom’ birthday cake. In the picture, Kareena looked beautiful in a white floral outfit sans makeup. Karisma captioned the picture as “Precious Moments with our birthday girl.”
On September 20, 2020, Kareena had taken to her IG handle and had shared a monochrome picture of herself with a note reflecting on her life and her plans for the future. Her note could be read as “As I enter my 40th year... I want to sit back, reflect, love, laugh, forgive, forget and most importantly pray and thank the strongest force up there for giving me the strength and thank my experiences and decisions for making me the woman I am... Karisma Kapoor had wished her sister, Kareena Kapoor Khan with an adorable throwback picture from their childhood. In the picture, Karisma had posed for the camera with her arms around her cute baby sister, Kareena, who had looked like a goofball with those chubby cheeks. Along with the picture, Karisma had written a heartmelting wish which could be read as “Will continue to protect you always. Happy 40th birthday to my lifeline! Love you the most.” Kareena and Karisma’s cousin, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni had also wished Bebo by sharing a collage on her IG stories. The collage had a recent picture of the Kapoor sisters from Riddhima’s birthday bash and the other picture was a throwback where little Kareena and Riddhima had posed with Karisma. Atop the collage, Riddhima had written, “Happy 40th you gorgeous being love you @kareenakapoorkhan.”
Kareena Kapoor Khan’s sister-in-law, Soha Ali Khan too had penned a heartfelt note for her bhabhi. Sharing a picture from the sets of Kareena’s radio show, What Women Want, Soha had written, “Most women walk the walk, talk the talk and shop the look but you don’t have to do anything - you just are! Strong, empowered, free, and full of love. And as your family expands and life becomes more full, may you continue to balance the passions of your life with grace. You make it look easy even though I know it can’t always be! Happy birthday to you @kareenakapoorkhan.” Soha’s husband, Kunal Kemmu had also posted an IG story to wish Bebo on her birthday. He had written, “May you always be happy, heathy and fabulous. We love you @kareenakapoorkhan” atop it.
