On February 1, 2021, Kareena took to her Instagram handle and gave us a sneak-peek of her 'personal life v/s real-life'. On January 7, 2021, Kareena had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a gorgeous picture of herself. In the monochrome picture, we could see Kareena looking beautiful in a black dress. In the caption, Kareena had expressed her wish of meeting her baby soon, and had written, "I'm waiting", followed by a heart emoji. In an interview with Anupama Chopra, Kareena Kapoor Khan had opened up on her second pregnancy. She had shared that she wants to stay healthy in her second pregnancy and had said, "Last time, I just took myself for granted and became huge. I put on 25 Kgs. I don't want to do that. I just want to be healthy and fit. I think the first time, it's just excitement. Everyone's like parathe khao, ghee khao, doodh piyo, besan ka laddoos are coming. And now, I'm like listen I have done it before, I know what my body requires. My doctor's like 'listen you are not eating for two, that is just a myth. Just be healthy and be safe.' And that is what I am trying to do."
Earlier, in an interview with the Mid-Day, Kareena had talked about working during pregnancy. She had said, "It feels great. Pregnancy is not an illness. Now, I have to just walk the ramp. It's something I love doing and I am never going to stop myself from doing what my heart wants. I know it has just been 46 days [since Taimur was born] and many might look at it [motherhood] as an excuse to hide, just because they aren't in the best shape. But I am not one to get conscious with skinny models around. What I am going to do requires courage and I have the confidence to pull it off. In India, women are conditioned to hide themselves away till they get back to the 'right' size. I feel it's fine to be out there. Everyone knows I have just had a baby.
