Well, recently, Kareena's fans slammed Pakistani actor, Khaqan Shahnawaz, as he seemingly ended up age-shaming the actress.
On a show on Geo Urdu Channel, one of Khaqan Shahnawaz's fans added that she really wished the actor would work alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan. Hearing this, Khaqan Shahnawaz made a light-hearted comment and stated that he would want to act in the role of Kareena's son. He further pointed out that Kareena is much older. Thus, he would want to play the role of her son. In Khaqan Shahnawaz's words:
"Accha, I can play her son. Yeah, I can play her son, definitely. Kareena ji bohot badi hain. Unke saath beta ban sakta hoon.”
Such a comment from Khaqan Shahnawaz didn't go well with Kareena Kapoor Khan's fans, who hit back at the actor for his 'age-shaming' comment on the actress. Reacting to the video, netizens gave Khaqan a reality check, and called him 'arrogant' and 'chapri'. One user penned, "He isn't as good-looking to play her son." Another user penned, "You can play her driver." A third user wrote, "Oh the arrogance is baffling. Bro Kareena won't even hire you as her spotboy!"

In an interview with Film Companion, Kareena Kapoor Khan talked about the notions of ageism. The actress shared that she is an actress, a wife, and a mom, and she loves being both. She added that age is just a number, and being 43, she thinks it is a great time to be in the films. The actress further mentioned that she loves the compliments like hot padosan.
Going further in the same interview, Kareena Kapoor Khan stated that she's not scared of being aged, and she doesn't feel it to be necessary to photoshop her images, which she is often asked to do. Kareena added that her fans should also know that there would be times when she would look tired, as they had been loyal to her and deserve the same from her as well. The actress mentioned that she isn't 20 anymore, and she doesn't want to be, as she is having the time of her life, still being the hot padosan.
