Many of our favourite Bollywood celebrities make for the cutest and inspiring sibling duos of the tinsel town. And one among them is the Kapoor sisters- Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor. The two are often snapped together, and Karisma regularly posts photos of the two on her Instagram handle. They are also quite outspoken about the love that they share with each other. Karisma Kapoor said in an interview with IANS recently, "Kareena and I are very close and we discuss everything, including our kids. We are both each other's biggest confidante and support system."
It was International Siblings Day on April 10, 2019, and many celeb sibling duos posted pictures on social media. Karisma Kapoor has shared a picture with her sibling, Kareena Kapoor Khan today on April 15, 2019, and it seems that for them every day of their life is Siblings Day. Karisma Kapoor had recently appeared on her sister's show called, Ishq 104.8 FM's What Women Want. She praised her sister, Kareena and called Bebo a role model for her. Lolo was quoted as saying, "Today, you are my role model. We are in the same profession, and the kind of strength we offer to each other is amazing. Apart from you, our mom has been an inspiration who single-handedly raised us so well." In an earlier interview with the PTI, Karisma had said, "She is my sister and we are very close. I think she is more of a friend to me than just a family member. We share a great bond and she is a blessing in my life." Karisma Kapoor, during an interview with Filmfare last year in 2018, had shared some unknown facts about her sister, Kareena Kapoor Khan. She had shared, “Apart from being a carefree person, I would say that she is a very emotional person. It is because of family, upbringing -- my dad, my mom. The Kapoors and the Shivdasanis, we have been extremely close and family is most important."
She had further added, "We say careers, friends, work everything is important, but family is THE most important. That’s how we have that bond of sisters and we are a very strong women-centric home. I am fortunate to have that bond (with Kareena).”
Even Kareena Kapoor Khan has always spoken reverently about her elder sister, Karisma Kapoor. The Veere Di Wedding actress was once quoted as saying, “She’s my older sister, but I think I kind of bully her sometimes. I fire her, and I also give her advice. But eventually, she’s the person I have grown up aspiring to be. Even the way she conducted herself back in the ’90s — she was a very private actor — was inspiring.”
The Takht actress had further added, “Her [Karisma’s] simplicity is her beauty and charm. That’s why, all her life, everyone around her has bullied her. But everyone who is a part of my life knows that if Lolo has said something, then it’s like gospel truth for me.
