Karisma Kapoor's children, Samaira Kapur and Kiaan Kapur, have been mourning the untimely death of their father. But their life took another turn as they had to approach the Delhi High Court to seek a share in their father, Sunjay Kapur's property. The kids, who once shared a great relationship with their step-mother, Priya Sachdev, have dragged her into the court for forging their father's will.
Karisma Kapoor's children, Samaira Kapur and Kiaan Kapur, have moved to the Delhi High Court to seek a share in their father's property. They urged to be recognised as Class 1 legal heirs to Kapur's personal assets in the late businessman's Rs. 30,000 crore estate. In the lawsuit, they made shocking revelations against Priya Sachdev. They accused Sunjay Kapur's third wife, Priya Sachdev of usurping the 'full control' over their father's assets.
They claimed that their step-mother, Priya Sachdev, forged the will after his sudden death in June 2025, in the United Kingdom. The children are being represented by their mother, Karisma Kapoor, in the court. Karisma's children have questioned the will dated March 21, 2025. According to the will, Sunjay's entire personal estate has been left in the name of Priya Kapur.
Karisma's children further added that they have not been provided with a copy or shown the 'will', which further adds to the suspicious circumstance, in which it has emerged after more than seven weeks of their father's death. The suit mentioned Priya Kapur, her minor son, and his mother, Rani Kapur, as well as the executor of the will, Shradha Suri Marwah. The children reported that Priya had conspired with her two associates to suppress the will for over seven weeks before presenting it at a family meeting on July 30, 2025.
The suit further claimed that the document is neither a legal nor a valid will, but rather a forged and fabricated one. It is the main reason they are not showing the original document. It stated:

"The plaintiffs submit that the purported will allegedly executed by the plaintiffs' father is not a legal and valid document, is forged and fabricated and in any event surrounded by suspicious circumstances. It is for this reason that neither the original of the alleged will has been shown to the plaintiffs nor a copy of it has been provided."
The suit further stated that their step-mother, Priya Sachdev, earlier revealed that Sunjay Kapur had not left behind any will, which mysteriously emerged. The suit read:
"Now the so-called will mysteriously emerged, and that too statedly from the two individuals, who are very close to the defendant no 1 and had been closely involved with her on a regular basis. It is unnatural and not a normal conduct that the said two Individuals would have waited for more than seven weeks before revealing the so-called will. It has later been revealed that Nitin Sharma had also been awarded a position in a company, as narrated later."
Furthermore, the suit detailed the relationship between late Sunjay Kapur and his children, Samaira and Kiaan, from his second wife, Karisma Kapoor. He would assure them that their future was secured with his plans and businesses named after them as an adequate measure to secure their future. The suit stated:
"Their father often spoke to them about their future, education, future goals, giving guidance and suggestions. In the conversations, he always assured them that they should pursue their education and passions fully without worries, as he had taken adequate steps to secure their future."
