Kartik Aaryan Earns Triple His Fee In Part 2 For 'Bhool Bhulaiyya 3', Debuted With Only Rs. 70,000

The Bhool Bhulaiyya franchise is all set for its next instalment to hit the theatres on November 1, 2024. So, excited fans are naturally curious about not only the film, but also the cast. One burning question fans have is regarding how much the Bhool Bhulaiyya 3 stars will be taking home in terms of pay. Well, the reveal of their fees, especially that of Kartik Aryan’s, is certainly going to leave your jaws dropped. 

Kartik Aaryan received a 3x hike in his fee from from Bhool Bhulaiyya 2

According to News 18, Kartik Aaryan is reportedly taking home a whopping Rs. 40-50 crore for his stint in Bhool Bhulaiyya 3. This fee is nearly three times what he earned for Bhool Bhulaiyya 2, which was reported to be Rs. 15 crore by Times Now. Kartik’s fee is also reportedly the highest of the cast. Not only that, but Kartik's current fee is exponentially higher than what he debuted with, which was reportedly a mere Rs. 70,000 for Pyaar Ka Punchnama.

The massive hike is likely a direct result of the blockbuster success of the second film in the franchise. After all, the feat wasn’t an easy one given the fact that Kartik was expected to fill the shoes of superstar, Akshay Kumar. 

Kartik's success with Bhool Bhulaiyya 2 becomes even more astonishing when we think of the period in which it was released. The film hit the theatres in the post-pandemic era when the film industry was in a bit of a lull. Veteran actors were struggling to regain their command over theatres and Bollywood was having trouble putting out big-money hits. Nevertheless, Kartik managed to win over fans with his dynamic performance.

Triptii Dimri doubles her fee following her breakout success in Animal

Triptii Dimri, who had proved her mettle in films like Qala and Bulbul, emerged as a breakout star in the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer, Animal. Owing to the massive fan following Triptii gained from the film, she was not only able to sign several big-ticket projects but also her fee got doubled. 

Reportedly, Triptii had earned Rs. 40 lakh for Animal. However, for Bhool Bhulaiyya 3, she will be receiving a total of Rs. 80 lakh. Despite the massive hike in pay, her total fee is just 20 percent of what Kartik Aryan will be taking home. 

However, Triptii, who acquired the title of the national crush of India, seems set on the path for a successful future. Elaborating on the Bhool Bhulaiyya 3 team’s eagerness to have Triptii on board, a source told BollywoodLife:

“The makers of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 even happily paid her what she demanded as it suited the production budget as well. Triptii is taking one film at a time and she is in no rush to reach the peak and is taking stepping stones. Triptii is not one of those actors who works according to the success rate, but she demands how much she deserves.”

Bhool Bhulaiyya 3 set to hit theatres on Diwali

For the unversed, Bhool Bhulaiyya 3 will be gracing the big screen on Diwali, most likely on November 1, 2024. The film not only stars Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri but also OG Monjulika, Vidya Balan.
