The actor’s last film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, was a massive hit and garnered him immense appreciation from the critics and audiences. However, recently, Kartik made headlines for his controversial exit from the film, Dostana 2 due to creative differences with the production house. But soon, the clouds of his professional misery faded after the release of his OTT film, Dhamaka, which stunned the audiences.
On May 5, 2023, Kartik Aaryan took to his Twitter handle and posted a cutesy picture with his mother, Mala Tiwari. In the picture, Kartik and his mom looked super-happy as they posed for the camera with their beaming smiles. However, along with the lovely picture, Kartik penned a heartbreaking note in which he opened up about his mother’s fight against cancer. The doting son revealed that some time ago, his mother was diagnosed with cancer, and it made him and his family helpless beyond measure. He tweeted:
"Some time ago during this month the Big C - ‘Cancer’ sneakily crept in and tried to rattle the lives of our family! We were frazzled and helpless beyond despair!"

Further, in his tweet, Kartik Aaryan admitted that it was his mother, Mala Tiwari’s sheer courage and determination to give a tough fight against cancer, that made her victorious against the life-threatening disease. The doting son referred to his mother as a ‘fierce soldier’. There’s no denying that Kartik’s mother has shown tremendous resilience in her fight against cancer and has given much-needed motivation to all the cancer patients out there. Kartik’s tweet can be read as:
"But thanks to the willpower, resilience and never give up attitude of this fierce soldier - My Mom, we turned to the Bigger C- ‘Courage’ and marched with all our might and won the dark but destined to win war!"
At the end of his tweet, Kartik Aaryan revealed that his mother, Mala Tiwari’s fight against cancer taught him and his family an important lesson. Revealing the same, Kartik stated that there’s no superpower bigger and stronger than the power of a family’s love and support. The actor hailed his mommy as a ‘super hero’ and proudly called her a ‘cancer warrior’. Kartik’s tweet can be read as:
